GHS Strings S325-5 Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings, Light, Pack of 6 (12-54)

I didn't have high expectations for these strings as I've never tried them, but a friend recommended them and I'm impressed.I have and adi/hog dreadnought that is fickle with strings as it can sound too bright for me with some brands. With these it's a very clear tone with some warmth and great sustain and volume. The highs sound very nice but not too bright, the mids stand out, and the lows are full of bass.I don't know how long these might last, but they feel great on the fingers, no roughness, but not as slick as Elixers either. But for hammer-ons and slides it's smooth sailing and my fingers don't slip around.I like them and will definitely give them another go.

I have been looking for a light gauge acoustic string set, that still produces a vibrant clear tone from every string, while projecting what my Martin DCPA-1 is capable of producing! These GHS extra light 11-50 win the prize! With a bonus being that they fret like butter!! Ive tried D'addario, Martin, Elixir, and about everything else out there (Ive been playing for 45+ years) and for me, these do the job like nothing else Ive tried. Made in the USA, top notch. I put these strings on my Eastman E2OM CD. Wow what a beautiful sound coming out of a guitar that already sounds nice.I then put these strings on my Michael Kelly Triad dread which has a sprurce top. They are a bit bright for me on this guitar.

I had never used this brand of strings but I am very impressed so far with them. VERY nice tone for a light string (I use mediums normally but thought I'd try these). Like the fact they're made in the USA. Can't speak honestly to longevity but suspect they will do fine in that regard. No negatives at all at this point.

Was very impressed with the manufacture of these strings. Just clearly well made, but I found the tone not overwhelming, so I tried their Medium Americana, cryogenic phosphor bronze, and liked them so well, ordered five (5) sets.After a month they still sound great - but that's the S435, Americana.

My luthier recommended and I had been using D'Addario 12-53 PBs. I experimented with these and liked their sound for strumming, flatpicking, and finger style. Tried others, including Silk and Steel, and "low tension" strings from England, but these seem to bring out the sound of my instrument the best, along with easy playability.

These quickly became one of my favorite acoustic string sets! After playing on elixirs for a decade, I have experimented with many other brands such as ernie ball, d'addario, martin, etc. These last decently long, are neutral in brightness, very clear, project well, stay in tune, and have good playability. Even in drop tunings, it doesn't lose any clarity or tone.

These are perfect. They are the correct Gauge. I almost always have trouble with getting the correct Gauge in the mail usually I get a wrong pic today I got the best one exactly what I want to thank you so much
