Great 3/4 size guitar that is also good for travel.
Well made guitar. Workmanship is gorgeous. This is a 3/4 size instrument that sounds great. Like all acoustic guitars, the action is high when compared to an electrical guitar. I like the size for travel-the case fits well in overhead bins of Regional Aircraft and on 737s, Airbus 320s. The Gig bag that is supplied by Taylor is made well to work as a carry on. It alone as a carry on will protect the guitar. As a checked bag, I will only use a hard case. This will have to be purchased separately. Even a hard case for this guitar will fit in all the overhead bins mentioned above. I will never check a guitar in a soft case-NEvER do that.

Solid and perfect for woman sized hand
I struggled with costco guitar for months, with my regular woman size hand it's impossible to play difficult chords like c chord. This Taylor mini immediately solved my problem, I like the sound too. It sounds very classical to me, which is what I try to play. It arrived very well packaged, came with a solid hard shell case. Very happy with this guitar.

I am pretty much a beginner. The sound from this guitar is amazing . And no regrets with Mahogony. The size is perfect. I wish I had bought this instead of the dreadnaught that I have - although I do love it, the Taylor is perfect to hold and play. I will say that this guitar will force me to be a better player. The soundboard is lively and magical but it if you fingerpick, some notes will excite strings that are not invited. So I need to accelerate my skills to mute strings. But wow - I love this Taylor
