I got these to for work and I loved how tough they were. Also, as advertised I never slipped. I worked where there is snow and ice and oil spills regularly and great grip. They are incredibly tough and protected my feet from many things. Downside, get a gel or some kind of shock absorbing insole you can put inside. They have plenty of room for it if you go one half size up. By the end of my day I was hobbling because of how miserable my feet were feeling. Don't get me wrong I wear timberland boots(not these) as my primary shoes outside of my work. I have super flat feet and they are incredibly comfortable. These did not maintain that standard of comfort sadly.

This is a really nice boot. Could be a little more comfortable but not bad.

Gave a pair to my husband for his birthday. He loves them and after 9 hours on his feet his knees and back don't hurt unlike with other boots.

I like the look of the boots, they're definitely not bad durability wise, but they're not that great either, they tore up for me about 2 weeks in. That's just me though. I will say that you could do a lot worse.
