Great cooked texture and taste
Really enjoy these groats. They can work for breakfast or savory as a sub for rice. I followed someone else's suggestion for cooking, I use 3 cups liquid to 1 cup groats, bring it to a boil and then simmer uncovered for an hour. They absorb all the liquid and have a nice soft, but still chewy texture. They arrived sealed nicely with no issues. I cooked with blueberries this last time and they came out delicious.

Unpeeled grains
I have been purchasing Gf Harvest oat groats for the past four years and have observed a change in their quality. It appears the grain is being sold unpeeled, with the skin still covering it, which may pose safety and taste concerns. Consistency and quality are important factors for maintaining customer satisfaction. I am very disappointed about you r product.

Healthy! And tasty!
I use this in all of my recipes in place of rice! It is so tasty and so much healthier than rice! Enjoy!

Healthy and Delicious!
Steel cut oats have always been my favorite as they are so pure. Now, the highest form of oats is availabe as groats. You cannot buy these in grocery stores. I was so pleased to see them offered on Amazon. I am gluten free due to Celiac disease, and these are GF, so they are now a permanent part of my daily diet.

Not suitable for people with Celiac Disease
Turns out the product I received was cross contaminated with gluten from another source. As a result, I had a fairly significant gluten reaction. (I have severe Celiac Disease.) I gave away the remaining groats.

Very versatile and delicious
This is delicious! I have it for breakfast like traditional oats with fresh raspberries mixed in. But I've also been using it in place of rice for a savory side dish. I also add it to fresh salads sometimes. It got a great texture with a noticeable crunch that I find appealing. I will be reordering.

The grains leave hard shell and makes it unpleasant to eat
I have been buying this particular product for a long time, but in the past few month after I cook it in the Instant Pot which is how I've always done it, there is a hard outer shell that you can't eat. I will be looking for another brand from now on.

Great Groats!
These oats are great. I cook them overnight in a rice cooker set for brown rice. I've ordered this several times, quality is fantastic and always consistent!
