All in one carrier. Happy mama!
I had this carrier in my shopping cart for over 4 months before I finally bought it. I was thinking it might be too excessive to get this since I already had a structured carrier and every other type of carrier including a hip seat! I remember the first time I came across this, I was so excited! Thinking something like, "you mean I dont have to carry 3 different kind of carriers with me whereever I go? just in case baby wants to be carried differently???!" Though I still decided to wait..not sure if it was really as good as it seemed, and didn't want to be tricked again into buying another baby gadget gimmick that I'll end up not using. Well I finally cracked and got it on first birthday. The features I were looking for that I wasn't getting from the several other carriers I had was: -Wanting a carrier that'll support her weight (hip seat) -Allow for front facing without hip displasia worries ( hip seat w/narrow leg holes) -Back wearing without too much pressure on her knees and hips being stretched too wide. (hip seat) -easy one hand carrying with just the hip seat when baby doesn't want to be strapped to me When the miamily hipster carrier arrived I was very pleased and surprised with the professional quality packaging and instruction features, the quality of the product itself is beautiful, and with some serious style. I got the grey color. Wearing it I could tell my baby was relieved and comfortable from the support as a carrier and hip seat combo. She got excited, I got excited, and we started dancing around with her strapped to me. We tried all positions and they all far exceeded any other carrier I have used as far as comfort for baby and MOMMY support, style and ease. ****** The carrier also had some **bonus**features I didn't realize we're apart of it that solved other issues I didn't realize I had before. -The back support of the carrier has a zipper that opens that back material to expose a mesh For letting out heat when wearing. - super soft cotton wraps to velcro around the straps where your babies face and neck usually rub against for extra comfort for them. -snap on head support for sun cover/sleeping child. My other carrier has this as well but this one has lots of adjusting sizes that my baby actually fits into. - hallow hipseat inside the zipper for storing things like a fannypack. A different hip seat I purchased previously is just one solid foam piece that holds its shape so you can barely fit your hand in there, and not to mention the hipster seat doesn't hurt while wearing It with baby, like the other. I actually had to stuff extra padding in my old one and it still dug into my hip! It seriously was like walking around with pressure of a foam roller strapped to you. So happy I can get rid of that thing now! That pretty much sums up my love and excitement for this product and I will have this carrier as my number one I recommend to future mamas. Thank you!!

Better Than $400 Hiking Carriers
First of all, I need to preface this by saying that I found out after I had my son that I sustained some pretty significant spinal and back damage during the end of my pregnancy and delivery. It was so severe that even as a brand new newborn, I could not carry my son in any type of carrier without excruciating pain. Not the supposed ergonomic carriers or a custom ring sling or wrap. And as he got older, of course the problem just got worse. We went through, no lie, around $2,000 in every type of carrier you can possibly imagine from nearly every big name brand. Including specialty hiking carriers that were hundreds of dollars since we hike often. They all had one MAJOR flaw. Not ONE of them was truuly ergonomic for the parent. In EVERY case, the majority of the weight load was distributed onto your shoulders and upper back and thw child is basically hanging from your shoulders and back. Even in the carriers with solid frames like the hiking ones that have waist belts. And even my husband, who is extremely healthy and slender and athletic, couldn't find one that even he was comfortable enough that he would be able to carry our son for more than 20 minutes if we were going on a hike or going to be out for an extended period of time. There was enough strain on his shoulders and back even when made sure that they were properly adjusted by an expert, that he just could not imagine taking our son out for longer than that without significant pain and subsequently having shoulder, neck, and back issues. And there was definitely no way I, with my back, could use them at all. All were horribly painful. Fast forward to me sobbing one day wondering if I would ever be able to carry our son in any type of a carrier at any point and being completely frustrated with the lack of options on the market. And that is the day that I somehow, out of desperation, stumbled upon the MiaMily brand. This newer Swiss company I had never heard of, but saw that they have a huge cult following already in Europe and Asia. And after reading the creator's story of why she created these that was so similar to my story with my back, seeing all the awards they've won internationally, that they they are endorsed by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute, we were SOLD. It was THE BEST purchase we've ever made! There is literally nothing else like this in the baby carrier market! When we first received it and both tried it on with our son in it I think we were both speechless for a little while. Speechless in the best way possible! Neither one of us could believe how insanely comfortable it was and how LIGHT our son felt in this carrier! Our son is 12 months old now and weighs as much as a 2-year-old. He weighs 28 lbs and is nearly as tall as a 2yr old as well. So that's saying a LOT. The baby literally sits on a padded solid wedge seat that distributes their weight evenly mainly onto your hips, where there is the most support and stability and the least strain. There is hardly any pull, let alone strain, on your shoulders or back whatsoever! The super thick and sturdy hook and loop strap that goes around your waist is also ridiculously comfortable and makes it so much more stabilizing and ergonomic! actually, all of the straps from the waist strap to the shoulder straps are all extremely thick and padded and very high quality. This is also extremely breathable! We just went ahead and unzipped the part that comes off to expose the breathable mesh since our son is hot natured. We have now had this on several hiking trips that were a couple of hours long and not only do we have no problems whatsoever carrying him that long in this even on steep or uneven terrain... our son absolutely LOVES this! He actually cries when he knows we are getting ready to take him out! And he gets super excited and does this little happy dance when he sees us putting it on haha! Who would have thought that at 28 lb I could now carry my son more easily and with no pain and that's something I couldn't even do when he was a newborn. As you can see, my husband also absolutely loves this carrier! This is a picture of him carrying our son on our last hiking trip! If you have any reservations whatsoever, don't. Just get this carrier! The only thing I would add is that we do not recommend the Essential model. We got that one and this one at the same time and thought we would use them both for different things, but the Essential is not breathable whatsoever and is not even as close as comfortable as this because it does not have the wraparound padded waistband. It also continually annoyed my son, who again,.is extremely tall for his age and almost as tall as a 2-year-old... Because the flat part that normally folds down in the other models can't really be folded down in that model and was just in his way and constantly smacking him in the face when he was facing out. This model however, in our opinion, is the absolute best baby care on the market hands down! If you want to baby carrier that is actually ergonomic for not only the baby, but for you as a parent, you need this!

NO BACK PAIN
I originally had the ergobaby omni360 as my carrier. It worked fine in the beginning when my babe was a newborn, but as my baby started getting bigger and her weight hit the teens my back pain became unbearable. It caused severe lower back pain that would turn into back spasms and leave me bed ridden and unable to even pick up my child for days. Only after seeing a chiropractor would I feel better again. The same thing happened to another girlfriend I recommended the same carrier to! I felt awful for recommending it. I couldn’t believe it negatively affected the quality of my life and her life so much. Anyways, I stoped using it and my back pain went away. I searched high and low for another carrier that wouldn’t do the same thing to me and came across this one. I wear it every single day and guess what: NO BACK PAIN. NOT A SINGLE BACK SPASM. NOT EVEN SORENESS! The weight distribution feels great on my hips, almost like a massage. My baby is super comfortable. I love that it has a seat as it makes a big difference for my baby’s hips. The belly band is nice and thick so nothing is cutting off circulation or pinching any nerve areas around my lower back or hips. I can hike with her and walk hours with her and feel fine. I couldn’t imagine doing that with the other carrier I had because well, thanks to the pain it caused I could barely walk! A BIG THANK YOU to this brand for making such a quality and much needed product. I’ll never stop raving about it. Blessings to all the mamas and papas out there who need the back support! This will not let you down.

Porte super pratique. Mon entourage me l'envie. Rapide et simple à mettre en oeuvre. Le plus : le fait de séparer le porte bébé en deux et de n'avoir que l'assise.

I am in love with this carrier! Very useful bag, teethers, and hoody to protect my baby from the sun. My 3+ months old is very happy and comfortable on the cushioned seat. Great quality thank you!

This is just what I am looking for, I am travelling on my own with big 4 nearly 5 year old and he fits into the back pack perfectly, the weight is on your hips rather than your back which is brilliant, I just wish I brought it when he was very little.

Marsupio molto bello, consiglio versione in cotone come questa visto che comunque fa sempre sudare un pochino sia mamma che cucciola/o.

If you're on the fence about buying this, hop on over...you will be so glad that you did. I swear this is the baby whisperer of baby carriers. Prior to my MiaMily I used a Bjorn, an Ergobaby, a Lillebaby, and a number of slings and wraps. No, I don't have multiple children that I've cycled carriers through, I have one 7-month-old spunky little guy who knows what he likes and from what I've learned, what he very much doesn't like. Jogging Stroller? Nope. All aforementioned carriers (prior to the MiaMily)? Nope. Car seat? Double nope. Wear your baby they said, they'll love the closeness to mum, they said. Maybe I smell funny, but that was not the case over here. I wanted to take the bambino for a walk with the dog. I wanted to walk to a coffee shop (can I get an amen?!) I wanted to do some dishes and get the laundry done. Nope. Fuss, fuss, wiggle, struggle and fuss a bit more. Other than these instances he's a really happy little dude, too! My anxiety was through the roof! I didn't want him to be unhappy/uncomfortable by any means and despite reading every bit of instructions and watching umpteen youtube videos on proper ways to wear every carrier, wrap, and sling he just wasn't having it. And then.... There I was spending my nightly precious moments where I should be sleeping, lying in bed playing on Instagram when i found a profile for MiaMily baby carriers. I looked, I learned, I read reviews and decided to give one. more. carrier. a whirl. Hallelujah!!!!!! I'd give this thing a million stars if I could - my bambino LOVES this thing. Front facing, facing inward, riding on my back, sitting just on the hipster seat....NO MORE FUSSING. Smiles, lots and lots of smiles. I did dishes and cleaned my kitchen for an hour yesterday with him on my back. Today I vacuumed the entire upstairs and did laundry. He fell asleep. Baby Whisperer. We've done 4 km hikes, I wear him around the house in all different positions....oh, almost forgot to mention the hour and a half we spent at the supermarket the other day without a meltdown at checkout. The little seat makes all the difference in the world. He has to be so much more comfortable than when he was in all of the other carriers (still not sure why he hates the jogging stroller but that's for another review.) Not only is he comfortable, the MiaMily is really comfortable for me, too. Most recently prior to this, I was rocking the Lillebaby All Seasons which I thought was comfortable because of the lumbar support pad in the back....oh no....this is hands down much more comfortable. But let me back the baby wagon up for a second and fill you in on another reason why I switched from the Lillebaby to the MiaMily, and no, it wasn't just because I like to spend money frivolously on baby stuff (I'm talking to you, dear husband.) When I started wearing little man front facing in the Lillebaby, he seemed much more content than any other position so I thought, "Okay, great. We can just do this all of the time and at least get our walks in." But, what I didn't account for was him being so comfortable front facing that he would fall asleep and then his poor little head is just flopped forward, chin on chest. The recommendation is to switch to inward facing when they start to get tired/they want to sleep....well, that sounds fine in theory, except that the seat configuration for front facing versus inward face is different for proper leg/hip support. Changing the seat configuration in the Lillebaby on the fly is no easy task. You cannot hold your precious cargo and do it at the same time. The beauty of the MiaMily is because your babe is sitting on a seat, there's no need to change anything to switch between front facing and inward facing. I actually managed to do it mid-walk the other day when he fell asleep front facing without even waking him. Worth every penny right there! But wait, there's more. (High five to you if you're still reading!) The creators of this carrier really, truly thought of everything. Removable drool pads...check! Sun cover...check! Zip out section to mesh for warmer weather...check! HUGE, GIANT, pocket under the seat...heck yeah! (I keep wipes and a nappy in that bad boy so I don't have to lug a nappy bag a lot of places. AND....THE STRAPS ZIP OFF SO YOU JUST HAVE THE SEAT. Yes, this is exciting enough to warrant all caps. I use just the seat to carry him into the doctor's office and exhausted moms' mouths drop everywhere. No more tired arms. No more feeling like at any minute you're going to drop sweet baby cakes because he/she just wants to be held and every last ounce of your strength is gone. Did I mention this thing is AWESOME?! Well, there you have it folks, one of only a handful of reviews I've ever written but feel it's my civic duty to sleep-deprived, frazzled moms and dads everywhere to do my part to talk you into buying this magical baby-taming, life-saving, game changer of a baby carrier.
