The boots I didn’t know I needed! Bought them as barn/muck boots and didn’t end up using them for that. Great for ice/slush in the winter. They’re comfortable, have excellent traction and are very easy to pull off. I probably could have gone down in size but a little room helps when you’re wearing thicker socks. True to size, but not very warm for freezing weather so wearing wool socks helps with that. Also able to fit a custom insole with this boot (another reason to order it a bit roomier). Didn’t notice any off-gassing; I’m pretty sensitive to chemical smells.

I bought these for hunting and other outdoor activities where warmth and waterproof are a must. They arrived superfast to western NL. For the price they are very comfortable and I don't need bulky wool socks in them to keep my feet warm. The soles are soft and grippy. They also come up high on my calves which I like. My son has a pair of those overpriced boots with the name that rhymes with "logs" and his are shorter in the calf and he says they gall his heels unless he puts duct tape on them! I wore these all day hiking through snow in the woods and my feet were nice and toasty and dry without any problems liked galled heels. The only thing I found with them is that they seem to be sized small. I ordered a 10 but they were too snug even with a thin sock. I had to send them back and get an 11. So you might want to order a size larger than what you normally wear. We'll see what they're like a year from now. I'll update my review then.

Lots of grip and comfy

If I could give these boots a higher star rating I would! I got stuck in the middle of a big grass fire. These boots helped me stomp out enough fire to get out. They didn't even get singed!! No melting, nothing!! GREAT for gold panning. I sat in the river for 2+ hours. Boots in the water the whole time. Didn't get cold. Completely water, and temperature (freezing water and hello fire heat) proof. The sole feels like Scetchers. Super soft and comfy. My husband said that they're pretty warm. I find that im pretty sweaty when I take them off as well. Personally, it's worth the protection! I bought a pair for everyone in our family.
