I'm a beginner with drones. I tried another model before I bought this one, and the first one was difficult to link with my phone and was not user friendly nor intuitive. I returned it. This drone package has a very well designed remote, particularly with a one-click takeoff/landing. This can be very helpful if you need to land the drone quickly and avoid obstacles. I particularly like the brackets for my phone - I like having the phone above the display readout - it just makes flying easier and more fun. My only suggestion for improvement is better location of the buttons to control the camera angle. They are below the phone in the back and work well, but it would be nice if they were somehow put on the front of the remote. The remote display shows good flight and battery status data and is easy to read, even in bright light. The app works fine with my Motorola G6 phone and is also well designed. After calibrating the drone, just link the phone and drone wi-fi, start the app, and enjoy clear imagery through the camera. There is a novice selection in SETTINGS, but I don't know what that does or means. Perhaps I'll try it on another flight. I've only flown for a short time, and as a beginner it is vital to take baby steps in learning to fly it, especially when you rotate the drone and the controls are backwards. As the drone can be dominated by winds, you will need to be good with the controls. The joysticks respond as they should - slight movement for a small drone movement, and a longer press makes for more drone movement. Another excellent feature is the foot on each wing - this keeps the blades out of grass if you land on a lawn. I haven't flown enough to go through a battery yet. With two batteries, you should get ample flight time. Here are two pix from the drone. The user manual is difficult to read because the letters are so small, but there are instructional videos that you can watch that will help. Still, it is a good manual. I wish there was an email link for customer service, but it seems you have to go through Amazon for that. (Later note - you can get a PDF of the user manual, which is good.) I look forward to getting better at flying and learning all the capabilities of this drone. It has all the features I need and want, and particularly want to be able to fly it over water, as we have many ospreys and eagles in the area. I hope to get some photos of them. I heartily recommend this drone package.

This was second attempt to replace a worn out drone. First order from another manufacturer was very poor product. The Tucok product has adequate instructions (some of the best features are not explained) and unit is easy to fly. Because batteries are smaller you don’t have the battery life but at least the unit flies. I’ve had the unit in excess of 50m high and 500 meters away with complete control. HD camera is great.

It wasn’t very user friendly to set up and then in the middle of finally getting it to fly it would just lose signal and stop responding even though I was still very close to it. I tried several times using it but ut either wouldn’t fly at all or would not listen to the controller and fly all over. Don’t waste your money.

I actually do like this drone. It's easy to use once you figure out the on button for the remote. The battery life is not the best but the seller replaced the batteries with 2 new ones. Will see how that goes. The seller and their team aren't the easiest to get along with. Call it pride or maybe they just think we are all not from this planet. Who knows. 5 stars for the drone, 3 for seller.

I have had this now for a few days and I'm really enjoying it there only a few things that would make it better but for the price it's fine. First thing is and someone else made a comment about it and that is the buttons for the camera tilt could be in better position than on the back and also I found when using it it dose not move smoothly. The next thing is and this is just me but I wish the read out for height and distant on the controller could be changed from meters to feet, if there is a way I have not found how to, I was born in the USA and back in day when I went to school we never learn the metric system. The drone is easy to set up and only takes me a few minutes to be up and flying depending on how fast it locks on to the satellites which is normally pretty fast. Battery life for me been about 15 minutes give or take on one battery and that's fine for me. The last thing is and the manual don't tell you is to make sure you remove the plastic protect tape from the camera lens your photos and videos will look a lot better just keep the lens clean by blowing it off with a little air then wiping it down with a microfiber cloth.
