Great entry board also ddr4 rgb 5v plus 2x12v led strip lights for under desk behind monitors. Hdmi,vga and dvi sockets. Easy ro install as it comes with a disk. But remember to take of encryption on ssd in your old bios menu. Highly recommend if you don't want to go through the new ddr5 setup.

My PC, used to control electronic equipment, failed and I needed to get something working fast. I decided to swap the motherboard, retaining memory, processor and disks. After some research, this Asus seemed to be a good solution and I have not been disappointed. It's a good, versatile workhorse with a flexible BIOS - not a flashy games platform. The build process went smoothly and it was up and running in a couple of hours. There's a lot of scope for tuning and I'm still experimenting to find a decent combination of performance and reliability.

Great motherboard for the price, my only issue was that other motherboards from Asus with a lower price point have heat sinks for the M.2 hard drives, having to find a suitable 3rd party one is a nuisance. This needs addressing.

Solid Mobo for the money. Always nice to have an included Wi-Fi antenna. Every connector was easy to access, and has been working flawlessly since purchasing it. Would highly recommend!

Great motherboard built in WiFi 6 Perfect for AM5 SOCKET

Bought this board along with the Ryzen 5 5600x. No BIOS update needed which was great. As for performance/specs, the motherboard seems to operate fine. I had an issue installing Windows 11 initally, the board is described as "Windows 11 Ready", however upon initial boot into the windows 11 installer, I was greeted with a screen saying that my system was incompatible. After rebooting the system, I enabled "Firmware TPM" in the BIOS and the system booted without issue.

I found the ASUS PRIME B550M-A WiFi II very straightforward to install. All the headers and mounting points lined up perfectly, and it posted first time with no issues. Performance has been rock solid so far, with stable power delivery and good BIOS options for tweaking. The only downside I ran into was setting up the Wi-Fi under Windows 11. The adapter wasn’t recognised automatically, and Windows Update didn’t pull the driver. I had to visit the Realtek website and download it manually, after which everything worked fine. Once configured, the board has been completely reliable. It’s a great choice for a mid-range build, but be prepared to handle the Wi-Fi driver manually if you’re installing Windows 11.

It has a manual, so if you get stuck on placing the RAM open it. Love the fact that has WiFi.

Dopo aver valutato diverse opzioni per la mia build basata su Ryzen, la ASUS Prime B550M-A WiFi II si è rivelata la scelta vincente. È una scheda madre Micro-ATX che non rinuncia a nulla, offrendo un equilibrio perfetto tra stabilità e funzioni avanzate. Il punto di forza di questa versione è sicuramente il WiFi 6 integrato insieme al Bluetooth 5.2. La connessione è stabilissima e veloce quasi quanto il cavo LAN, il che è un vantaggio enorme se, come me, non hai il router nella stessa stanza del PC. L'antenna inclusa ha un ottimo raggio d'azione. Nonostante le dimensioni compatte, la scheda gestisce senza problemi processori potenti (come il mio Ryzen 5600GT). Supporta il PCIe 4.0, il che garantisce che gli SSD NVMe di ultima generazione e le moderne GPU possano girare alla massima velocità possibile. I 4 slot per la RAM permettono un facile upgrade futuro, e il BIOS di ASUS si conferma il più intuitivo e completo sul mercato. La qualità dei componenti è evidente: i dissipatori VRM fanno un ottimo lavoro nel mantenere basse le temperature. Nota per chi acquista: È una scheda ricca di connessioni, ma essendo una Micro-ATX "completa", in case molto compatti (come il mio Mars Gaming MC-CORE) bisogna fare un po' di attenzione agli ingombri inferiori se si installano ventole aggiuntive sul fondo del case. Una volta posizionata, però, è una roccia.

Ich habe das ASUS Prime B550M-A WiFi II für einen neuen AM4-Build verbaut und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Verarbeitung und Layout wirken hochwertig, der Einbau lief problemlos und alle Anschlüsse sind gut erreichbar. Besonders praktisch finde ich die zwei M.2-Slots sowie das integrierte WLAN und Bluetooth. Damit spart man sich zusätzliche Karten und Kabel. Leider sind aber keine M.2 kühler mit dabei! Nach der Windows-Installation lief alles sofort perfekt. WLAN und Bluetooth wurden bei mir automatisch erkannt. Lediglich die AI Suite funktioniert nichtmehr Im Alltag überzeugt das Board mit stabiler Performance, guter Ausstattung und einem fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wer ein zuverlässiges Mainboard für Ryzen 9 5950 Prozessoren sucht macht hier definitiv nichts falsch.

Hice un gran desembolso al comprar esta placa base Asus Prime B550M-A WIFI II, una fuente de alimentación Nox Urano VC 650W 80 PLUS Bronze, 2 módulos de memoria RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200MHz 16GB, una CPU AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, un disco duro SSD 256GB 3D NAND A55 Performance Boost 2.5 y una torre Marsgaming MC300 Micro ATX FRGB. Ilusionado, una vez todo montado instalo Windows 11, el CD con los drivers de la placa base y cuál es mi sorpresa al ver que los drivers Realtek High Definition Audio NO VIENEN EN EL CD Y NO SE ACTUALIZAN CON EL WINDOWS UPDATE. Llevo montando y desmontando el ordenador 2 días, instalando desde cero Windows 10 y 11, buscando en internet soluciones y hasta la fecha, AÚN NO HE SIDO CAPAZ DE QUE EL SERVICIO TÉCNICO me dé una solución o que el vendedor contacte conmigo... LAMENTABLE el tiempo invertido y perdido. Ojo con esto, porque trae muchos quebraderos de cabeza. Ahí lo dejo... EDITO: Quiero pedir disculpas públicamente por mi crítica al vendedor y SAT. Es mi obligación decir que, después de escribir esta reseña, tanto Asus España que estuvo al teléfono casi una hora dándome indicaciones y realizando todo tipo de comprobaciones y pruebas, se confirmó fallo de hardware, LA PLACA BASE TENÍA UN PROBLEMA DE FÁBRICA, increíble pero cierto, formo parte de ese 1% de usuarios con defectos de fábrica en una placa base. Y Amazon, la chica que me atendió, gestionó la SUSTITUCIÓN GRATUITA DEL PRODUCTO en menos de 15 minutos. Gracias a ellos, en menos de 24 horas, he tenido el ordenador montado y cien por cien OPERATIVO. Los conectores de audio mini-jack tanto frontal como trasero, a pleno rendimiento plug and play, los drivers correctamente en su DVD y a través de la aplicación MyAsus, todos los drivers, BIOS y firmwares en su última actualización. PIDO NUEVAMENTE DISCULPAS Y DECIR QUE LA GESTIÓN DEL PROBLEMA CON EL PRODUCTO HA SIDO SOBRESALIENTE. En cuanto a esta placa base, decir que, es una joya en bruto, relación calidad precio, y si le añades los componentes idóneos, tienes un "pedazo" de ordenador. Si no eres un gamer pro, esta placa base lo lleva todo y en alta calidad (gráficos integrados AMD, sonido 7.1 alta definición Realtek, USB última generación, WiFi 6, bluetooth, tres tipos de salida de vídeo, RJ45 ethernet...) 1000 x 1000 recomendable.
