Not for securing plastic bulbs to ceramic tree
A good super glue in a small, easy to use tube for many uses; but it did not work for my project…keeping those little plastic bulbs in a ceramic Christmas tree. Guessing the two surfaces need to make a more flat/solid contact. The instructions indicate that it will work for the 2 materials I was using it on; but perhaps because there are tiny, irregular gaps between the bulbs and slots…it prevented solid contact, causing insufficient surface adhesion. The “bulbs” were somewhat adhered; but they wiggled like a loose tooth. I even removed and reapplied them, using more generous application, with the same results.

Useless
The two tubes of super glue I received were both unusable and completely dried out. When I tried to use one, I realized the insides were solid and hard like a rock. There were no punctures on either tube, but both had the same issue. I have used the brand previously, but this set was a complete waste of money without any quality control. Many recent reviews mention a similar issue too, so its not an isolated incident. Don't buy and try another brand.

Loctite is a great brand for super glue!
This is one of the few high quality brands that include a bit of stretch into their recipe so the bond holds much better and conforms to the two pieces being glued. I like the small tubes because the larger bottles seems to clog or harden before using the bottle up. This is gel. I also use their non gel for finer work.

Good as expected
Bought this super glue because it came in two small tubes instead of a single larger one, as this stuff always dries up really quick and a single larger tube would end up being useless after drying. This way I can get two uses out of this for about the same price. Loctite is also a big brand whose screw fastener stuff I use at work a lot, so I am more familiar with them. Repaired a membrane keyboard nipple that had fallen off and a shoe using one tube. Saving the other for some other time.

Difficult to get the flow to stop
Once you open these little tubes and start squeezing, you have to reshape the tube to get it to stop expelling. Maybe this is typical of the foil tubes, but it's super inconvenient! Then, as long as the product is still wet, whatever you're trying to bond will not bond. Set it and forget it! Once dry, the hold is very good but, can be brittle and easy to crack, depending on what you're bonding. I tried to fix sunglasses, no go, I glued an enamel pin to a bookbag, it's still holding. So, this product is what it is, comparable to crazy glue.

Limited infomation provided: be aware and careful
I've used many Loctite products. Almost all with success. In this case, I bought the product for future use, as I do with many other types of glue, especially specialty glues and super-type glues. Turns out this particular two-part glue has a major shelf life limitation. Go past that shelf life and the small tube of glue hardens and is unusable. Nowhere in the description on Amazon or on their packaging do they explain the shelf life limitation. When I complained to the company I was told that I needed to go to their Tecnical Data Sheets. I wonder how many purchasers do that before buying their product. Turns out ALL their products have shelf life limitations but nothing is disclosed unless you first do some major research. They've got to be kidding! Overall, I like most Loctite products and use them. But now I need to be more cautious about when to purchase them. The date code is stamped on the bottom of the crimp on the tubes. Check it out and see if you can be sure what the shelf life date is. Or is the number strictly for Loctite's purposes? Boo to you, Loctite.

Best That I've Ever Used
Wow! This stuff is good!. I build military models and sometimes need a thick CA adhesive. I've tried several brands but Loctite is easily the best that I've ever used. It dries in a few minutes (so you have to work fast) and the bond is super strong. While there's no excuse for sloppy workmanship in model construction, there are times that a small gap develops where two surfaces need to be glued. Hey, it happens! When it does, I'd highly recommend Loctite gel to get the parts bonded. One thing that I've noticed is that it does not bond skin as quickly as some other brands that I've used. One still needs to be careful, but you do get a little wiggle room before you need to break out the de-bonding agent.
