I don't know how many cups this holds but it is very big and I use it only for meringue.

what do I have to buy tip-wise with this bag and can I use warm dough, as in churrow and not have the polyurethane come off into the food?

The bag comes sealed so you can cut the bag to suite any tips, of course any wilton tips you can't go wrong. Yes warm dough is fine.

I would look for recipes on the internet that fits what you are looking for. Recipes don't come with this bag.
