ZINUS Metal Box Spring with Wood Slats, 4 Inch Mattress Foundation, Sturdy Steel Structure, Easy Assembly, Full

Just want to start out by saying the slats are super sturdy and fluctuate between 2.5 and 2.75 inches (most foam bed manufacturers require a maximum of 3" between slats for warranty reasons). Okay, now that THAT’S out of the way. This Box spring/Box Frame is AMAZING. I never leave 5 star reviews except for items I think go above and beyond and this one sure does. The design and thought that went into this thing are superb. Extremely easy assembly, extremely sturdy yet super light and super rigid. It even comes with an amazing little allen wrench ratchet tool (pictured). The sides have velcro on them which attaches to Velcro strips which are stapled to the slats, and the slats themselves come in two separate sections. the design is perfect in that you simply grab a section of flats and "roll" it out and stick it to the velcro on the frame which holds it in place. The instructions were clear as far as putting the pieces together and really the ONLY thing I would say that could use improvement is the cover itself. Its designed in a way that it zips on three sides and you "wrap" it around the frame and zip it up, the issue is that when you do this you have to have two people: one to hold the frame up and the other to pull it through along the bottom. Once you do get the bottom section of the cover under the frame itself, everything gets easy and you simply zip it on up. I know this is "simply" a box spring, and maybe I am just so used to the old crappy styles. But this one is WELL worth the money. Strong, Stable, easy to assemble, perfect for foam beds, comes in a relatively small box. You cant go wrong with this one, and I will be buying again if I am ever in need of a box spring in the future.

This is the second Zinus bed I get and I will definitely be a returning customer if I ever need to change my bedframe again. It arrived in perfect shape, not a scratch. SUPER easy to assemble, and no flaw whatsoever in the build of the frame. Just as advertised by the manufacturer, this bed makes ZERO squeaking noise. I was happy with my previous 14" Zinus bedframe, but I needed to change it because I got a new mattress that happened to be 15" high, which required a lower bedframe for me to be able to get into my bed without feeling like I'm "climbing " into it!! The bonus with this frame is that it can be used as a spring box (with the fabric cover) or as a bedframe, in which case it has a modern and neat look. The only downside to using it as a bedframe is that it doesn't have anti-slip pads on the bottom so if you worry about scratching your floor, you should think about adding a carpet underneath or come up with another idea. Oh and did I meantion that this bed has a sturdy feel to it and the wooden flat slats are perfect for heavy mattresses like mine. The distance between the slats is small (2.6 inches) and the slats being flat, they don't leave marks at the bottom of my mattress. I got it on sale for 200$, so bonus!!!

This thing is super cool! I mean lets be honest, what does a box spring do... occupy space, add some height and ventilation. So by it's nature it is bulky but really not made of much. I did not expect it made sense to have an item like this shipped. Until I found this. Setup was super easy and did not take long at all. Also it came with a pretty slick tool, which was a nice surprise and very smart to include. I also think this is a lot nicer than the box springs I have seen in the past. We have had this in use for over 6 months now with no issues encountered. It has held up to my nightly performances and has not complained at all. Likewise I have no complaints. STOP SHIPPING BIG BULKY BOX SPRINGS AROUND THE GLOBE, as this has to be way smaller of a carbon footprint.

Sturdy. Easy to put together. Cover think white cannot see black frame through. Amazing worth the money even tho I think $200 I paid was alot but I shopped around and nothing compared. To cover being included which are usually $30-50 if you buy cover seperate.

So far I am really impressed. Everything showed up in excellent condition. It was so easy to put together but it still felt very sturdy for the metal frame. The wood slates were great and they attached really easy with the velcro. Everything fit together perfectly. My husband and I were able to get the frame together in about 20 mins. The cover is a really nice cover. My only issue was it was very hard to tell which way it went on. We kept laying it on top thinking it went one way and we would try to put it on and it didn't work at all (it was the wrong side). We kept trying thinking it had to be the right side. After two failed attempts we tried the other way and it went on like butter. No problems zipping it up the zipper piece did fall off once we finally got it on but we pulled pretty hard when we tried to put it on the wrong way. Wish there was a better way to identify which way it went on. Other than that it is sturdy and holds the mattress!
