I recently bought the “BIU-BOOM Aluminum Alloy Waterproof & Shockproof Case” and I’m quite impressed with its build quality. The carabiners are super strong and the twist-locking mechanism requires several twists to lock and unlock, so there’s no chance of it slipping off. The metal container (I think it’s aluminum, but I know it’s metal, not plastic) has threading that requires three full turns to remove, so it shouldn’t fall off either. There’s also an “o-ring” that should make it at least very water-resistant. Now, I’m not going to bash this product for its build quality because it seems a bit overkill for storing a 2FA key. I believe four Yubikey 5c NFC keys can fit into one of the cases. The product is listed to hold “USB Thumb Drives,” which I did put the SanDisk Extreme Pro into the case (just one drive) and secured the lid. I bought this case to protect the contacts on my Yubikey 5c NFC 2FA key, but I think it’s a bad choice for what I intended. So, I’m writing this review to warn people who have the same idea as I did that this case is far too big for most to have on a keychain. In the listing, they mentioned “Ledger Nano X/S Plus, YubiKey 5/5C NFC Case.” I don’t know the size of the Ledger Nano, but the picture shows the Yubikey, so you can get a sense of the size. I also included a size comparison with a common vehicle “key fob” for extra comparison (no the fob does NOT fit inside). The included lanyard is okay, not great, and the carabiner is much more secure for “belt loops,” etc. I believe this is a very good product, but it just is too big for what I hoped to use it for initially. I hope this helps people with a size comparison, as it seems to be a very well-made product. I'm giving it five stars because the product is very good, just too big for what I intended to use it for.

I purchased these for Yubikey 5C NFCs. It is definitely sturdy and works well for its purpose. I had not planned to store more than 1 Yubikey in the container, which worked out because 1 Yubikey in a protective cover is all that will fit in this container. For me, it is a little large to carry around on a daily basis, but considering what it is carrying, I will have to adjust. One thing I definitely will not be doing is attaching it to any area where it is in plain sight (no to hanging off my purse or backpack) because the cover screws on, so why tempt anyone.

The construction of this case is solid, and it includes spare o-rings and pre-cut foam inserts. It is larger than expected, accommodating two average-sized thumb drives or Ledger Nanos. It’s versatile, suitable for storing electronic devices, medication, money, keys, or anything that requires protection from the elements. However, it’s important to note that this case is not completely waterproof and can rust easily. To mitigate this, consider adding an additional layer of rust protection or using it as a secondary layer of defense. Remember to employ a defense-in-layers approach. For instance, place a sensitive thumb drive inside the capsule, and then store the capsule within a fireproof bag, securely placed in a locked room or vault. While it fulfills its purpose, it’s not a life-proof capsule, so it’s essential to keep that in mind to avoid disappointment. It’s unclear whether it works as a Faraday capsule, so if anyone tests it for that purpose, please share your findings.

Solid quality. Minus one star because of the mismatch between the size of the small Yubico keys and all that extra room inside the cylinders would seem to let the keys rattle around too much. Are these cylinders actually a product for another intended use, but were repurposed when someone thought to match them up with the Yubico keys, and then sell it as a new combo item in a new market? OK, nothing wrong with that, I guess. It would explain all of the extra room.

Heavy durability padded inside. Value for money excellent. Lots of room for several keys. Easy to use with wrist string and heavy clip for purse or construction sites

Material excelente, não deve nada ao da Ledger. Testei submergindo na água e resistiu perfeitamente. O produto vem com 4 anéis de borracha, 4 espumas extras, 2 cordões de borracha e mosquetão de aço reforçado. Inclusive, em apenas uma unidade coube tranquilamente uma Nano S Plus, Yubikey 5C NFC e um adaptador mini USBC.

Looks / feels solid. Has enough room for a ledger nano x. I wish it could be slightly larger so the wallet’s cable fits in as well.

Tolle Qualität, wasserdicht und kam viel schneller als angegeben. Versand hat lediglich rund 1 Woche gebraucht. Absolut empfehlenswert. Der Preis könnte natürlich etwas günstiger sein, aber ich habe das Gefühl, dass ich hier ein solides Produkt habe, welches sicher lang leben wird. Bin rundum zufrieden.

Disclaimer: I don't own the official ledger case. But being that it's made of plastic, not waterproof, and is over twice the price, I can't see how the official Ledger case could be better. Both my brother and my friend have other 3rd party Ledger nano x cases, and both of them needed to add some padding so the ledger wouldn't rattle around inside. This one fights like a glove. No rattles right from the onset. Have not tested the waterproofness, but the o-ring inspires confidence. Definitely would recommend.
