I had a very specific need for a scale model car I was working on that none of my tools could address. I found a video online showing someone using the #18 chiseling knife blades attacking the same problem I was having and BAM! problem solved. The blades are great -- the only problem was I didn't realize they required a different handle. I thought it would slide right into my existing X-Acto handle but I quickly learned there's a #1 handle and a #2 handle. Once I got the #2 handle I ripped through my project like it was butter. Couldn't be happier. AAA+++

These are a really good value...well made and sharp.

The size 18 chiseling blades are sharp and precise, making them great for detailed cutting and craft work. The SK5 steel feels durable and holds its edge well. They fit standard handles perfectly and are easy to change. Overall, very handy blades for leatherwork, wood, or general DIY projects.

They will cut

These perform as if they were made of aluminum. Ok, that may be an exaggeration, but these things dull if you look at them wrong. As a matter of fact, the edges already have little chunks missing, and other imperfections. They are inexpensive however. I am currently searching for some higher quality blades. If I find some, I will happily throw the remaining blades from this batch in the garbage. It's unfortunate that a company wasted resources to release these to the world. They are truly substandard and not worth buying. Stay away from these. Even if you have to pay more for better blades, you will likely still come out ahead because they will last longer. Seriously, these things get dull immediately.

Good quality and worth the price

These heavy chisel blades are becoming hard to find in local hobby and craft stores, so it was great to find a good sized package of them for a good price.
