Good value good product
Good Vac for the money. This is my second one. But I noticed they changed the impeller from steel to plastic. Still works great for Woodworking Vac. though. But the old version was better with a steel impeller that could vac very hot air since in won't melt.

WEN Dust Collector-Bag Zipper Fail
Works great very powerful. I use as a dedicated vac per machine. The only issue now is the zipper on bag splits after closing. Tried to rezipper but no avail. I wish WEN could replace the bag for me.

Great for my small shop but..and it is all good
I bought this dust collector for my small shop. I out of the box it worked great on my planer and table saw. After 2 weeks of use, all of the sudden it wouldn’t turn on. I called Wen customer service, left my number and was called back in 10 minutes. I believe the gentleman’s name was Dave. He asked a few questions and stated that is was probably the switch and sent out a new one. I received the switch and put it on in a matter of minutes and it is working perfectly. I have read about how Wen’s customer service was inadequate but my experience they were outstanding. He said if the switch didn’t solve the problem they would replace the unit. I couldn’t ask for better customer service!

Didn’t last
I bought this in early November for my small garage. I used It 3 maybe 4 times. While it was running tonight it made a loud crack and bang sound and now it’s useless. Save your money and time because it will break. And all this after light use. Ran for maybe an hour each use. And only 5 minutes as it broke.

Had an issue but was resolved fast.
After 2 months of use with my CNC Machine died. However, I did do the whole contact the retailer and much to my surprise, they contacted me back pretty quickly and sent me a new switch for it, which was the problem, and now it is running good again , performance wise, it has comparatively good suction, I have it connected to a 20 foot 2” hose and it does great extracting dust. The one thing I will say about the system is that the screen on the motor is about 1/4 inch wide, meaning it will suck up jut about everything but if its 1/4 inch or wider it will stop at the motor, which in turn causes a dust backup. The screen is needed to protect the motor. It wouldn’t be a bd thing to hook up one of those cyclone buckets if your planning on using it for shop clean up. Anything but dust going through this has the possibility to become a clog.I use it not only for my CNc, but my thickness planer, jointer and chop saw no it works great. Sometimes with my thickness planer, due to longer string like sawdust, it clogs, but it’s quick connect comes off and easily cleanable. MAKE SURE IF YOUR ORDERING A VAC- ATTACHMENT THAT IT IS A MALE connector, the 3 or 4 inch opening on the unit is female.

Absolutely worth the money
There is controversy on whether these cheap units are better than a shop vac... if you are hesitating because of that, don't. Its much better than a shop vac for dust collection. I will say, that I am not a WEN fan. I have been burned by low quality on a few of their tools, but the price on this dragged me back for more punishment... So far i am pleasantly surprised. The next cheapest comparable dust collection unit was still 50$ more at harbor freight, and any sort of unit that would be an further improvement was 3x the price or more, so i decided to take a chance on it. For roughly the price of a shop vac, this is a much better choice. I went through 3! shop vacs before trying this. Burned up a brand new craftsman, tried a used ridgid that had nowhere near enough suction, and was using my old "filter queen" house vacuum with some success, but needed more airflow, as my hoses kept filling up with dust. This is way better. The suction isn't necessarily impressive, and if it encounters resistance, it wont "push through" like a shopvac might, but it has way better air throughput, which is what you need for dust collection. Manage your expectations, keep your hose runs short, and enjoy. My small shop dust collection system finally works!

Good suck for the buck
Downsized a few years back and let several things go, including a 2 HP JET dust collector. When I got a new planer recently, I had to have something better than the canister vac. I was prepared to be disappointed, but I'm not. Plenty of suck for the planer and drum sander. Surprisingly good with a SawStop PCS. Not enough keep the top clean, but great for the cabinet. Pleased enough I think I'll get a second one just for the saw.

No funciona bien. A los 5 seg de encenderlo se apaga. El vendedor, después de enviarme 2 veces una etiqueta de devolución errónea que el transportista no admite, me dice que estoy fuera de plazo para devolverlo

This dust collector works great. I build a rolling workbench in my workshop and attached it to it. Great when using my tablesaw, mitre saw, and router. Have hose lines attached to it. Keeps my shop dust free.
