Greenland Home Barefoot Bungalow Durango Quilt Set, Full/Queen, Natural,GL-1603NMSQ, 3-Piece

I received this yesterday, so have not washed it, but it is 100 percent cotton, so I wouldn't put it in a hot dryer because it most likely would draw up. I specifically wanted a Greenland Home product. I've bought a quilt from them before and like their products. This one is well-made. I have gray curtains I didn't want to replace and decided this fit the bill. It's beautiful and gives the room a boost of color, but it's not overwhelming or too bright. It's also lightweight, which suits us. My spouse gets too hot under a comforter and I always need a blanket, so I keep a blanket on the end of the bed for me and toss it over my side when I need it. I will definitely put a blanket on the bed when the weather's cold again, but it works perfectly for both of us. One note we have a 14-inch memory foam mattress, which makes the mattress sit higher from the floor. I bought a Cal King (and not all of the Greenland Home quilts come in that size) and am glad I did. The top of the quilt adequately covers the mattress and the very top of the dust ruffle. If you have a thick mattress, I would suggest opting for the Cal King, as opposed to the king. The king would have been too short, but this fits fine. I also bought a regular king-size ( in another pattern) for a queen bed we have and it fits like a bedspread. That bed sits very high, so a queen would have been much too short. I do not plan to put this in the dryer at all. I'll hang it outside instead.

These are great! The colors are perfect. They wash up like a dream. After a couple of washes, the stiffness wore off and they got much softer. I did not notice any shrinkage after washing and the colors did not fade. Happy with this purchase.

The bedspread looks as pictured, but it came out of the box ripped. I’m so disappointed Update: I received a replacement product and it looks so much better. There are no rips in the binding and threads aren’t pulling out randomly. Some of the top stitches are a little loose, but it’s nothing that wasn’t easily fixed at home. I changed my review from 2 to 4 stars to reflect my final opinion of the product.

This quilt was my SECOND purchase from this company/brand. My first quilt was purchased a while ago and has been in regular use. It has been washed and dried many times, and is holding up beautifully, which is why I bought another. Both quilts are king-sized and used as bedspreads on queen beds, with a generous fabric overhang all around the bed. They make perfect bedspreads when using the next size up! There was no odd odor when opening the package. The fabric is cotton, but is not thin. Quilt is well constructed, with no loose threads or crooked designs. The fit and colors portrayed in pictures are accurate. This is a mid-weight quilt with NO loft/stuffing, and can be used year-round (I add a thermal cotton blanket for winter).

I purchased the twin size to use on an extra bed in our home. I love that's it's cotton and quilted. It's the perfect weight for fall and spring, but in the winter we add an extra blanket. (Depending on how cold your house is in the summer, it may be a bit too heavy.) The colors are on the darker side, but they are rich and beautiful and can be accented with many other colors. I love this quilt and am so glad I bought it. Highly recommend!

I was notably impressed that this quilt was as good as the reviews stated. I especially was looking for a durable, 100% cotton quilt and found it. I received it today and washed it right away and was pleased that it was much softer and less scratchy after washing, unlike much bedding that is treated to feel soft in the package and is not after laundering. It feels very sturdy. Nothing about this quilt seems cheaply made. I liked that the stitching feels as if it will last years. I don't spend money on a whim and feel this was definitely worth the price. As many other reviews stated, the colors are more muted than the pictures but very pleasing earthy tones with the reverse side being muted blue and grey. I will update if this does not hold up to regular wear and laundering.

Bought to cover sofa seating surfaces - to protect against our dogs claws. Last super well - stand up against large dogs. Wash and dry well. So much better than trying to use those ‘sofa covers’ that constantly slip out of place and the elastic bands that stretch and break.

The Durango set is the one I needed because I had an older set that I had found at a thrift store that was happy to find this one as it does have the matching Shams they were plentiful and had enough space to have a very plush look it definitely is cheaper than you would think in cost because this set it looks like it cost way more you can always buy a bed skirt to put at the bottom base, so you can have it more flouncy if that's what you're into. I'm very happy because I actually have a picture that matches this set perfectly I will post the picture soon. I'm happy with my purchase as you will be as well and always buy larger that way you can tuck it's better to have more than to have less we bought the king and it worked for us...

I’m not thrilled about the prints on these quilts, they are a little dated but everything else is great. I bought them to protect our sofas while we are in lockdown and the poor sofas are really getting a beating. They work really well and would be lovely to cuddle up under as well. Large enough for a single bed with plenty of extra hang.
