The book is not too long as it includes lots of different stuff rather than just repeating the same old exercises. This is not to say it's short, only that it's about the perfect length for learning/maintaining interest. I will only buy educational workbooks in this series since trying a few different brands and being disappointed in all of the others.

I like this book as a supplement to my daughters leaning at school. There are passages and then activities that go with each reading. Very good.
