Surprised with Quality and Ease of Installation
Impressed with the quality and ease of installation. The edge banding often didn’t even require trimming with a knife—once folded, it cleanly breaks off exactly where you want it. It adheres very well, which was a pleasant surprise, and bonds immediately when ironed. I did go over it a few extra times just to be safe. The fit was also perfect. Overall, very satisfied with this product.

Easy to install and looks nice
Easy and quick to apply with a hot iron to activate the adhesive. The banding width was perfect for our 3/4" shelf below the kitchen sink. Gave the shelf a finished look. Before and after photos attached.

Pretty good, with a learning curve
I bought an Ikea bookshelf to diy it into a pull out pantry door next to my fridge. It required me ripping the shelves down the middle leaving exposed MDF in edges. I planned to paint it but did an amazon search for alternative options and found this tape. I am not a professional so there are lots of oddities, like the shelves not winding up the same width, and of course MDF chipping from ripping with a saw. But back to this tape. No instructions came with it, which I was prepared for based on the reviews. I used my household iron and that there was some residue transferring onto the tape, and it looked terrible. Luckily, I was able to scrape it off and try again. I decided to use parchment paper as a barrier as I ironed on high heat. I had much better results. Also, nonpro tip: don’t try to tack one end then the other, then iron the middle. I found out again that the taoe stretches as you iron and caused a pucker in the middle, which puckered a bit. I was able to mostly iron that down to where it was acceptable without scraping that off too. About an hour total time and I covered 5 shelf fronts and two sides. It looks acceptable and I am happy with it. I may paint the chips or seal it with silicone calk. Overall I am happy with it. 4 stars since there are no directions n which would have saved some waste.

Great way to save laminate pieces.
Used this to finish an old laminate bookshelf that was stained on the front so we turned it around. Stuck well to particle board edges. It was a little too wide but I was able to trim it pretty easily.

Is amazing product
I was preparing to hang some cabinets and needed to plane the last cabinet to the leat 1 point I planned in the wrong direction like an idiot and a piece of the front I was furious at myselfwent to the hardware store To look for stain, but most of them go on clear and no matter what I would do. It would never actually look right because of the jagged. Corner of the cabinet where the veneer was ripped off. I even tried wood pudding and it looked horrible. I was so excited to find a product that looked like. It might fix my cabinets Have an oak finish which has some variation in color this problem. This product is a very thick vinyl and very good quality. I took a piece of PBC lattice molding that I had primered I. Put the wood grain tape on the top, then folded it over so that the sides were also covered. I was shocked to see how well it matched. I put it above the doors as you can see in the pictures and Brad. Nailed it to the top of the cabinets. You literally cannot tell there was ever a problem? What an amazing problem. Whoever thought of this should get a prize. I am so grateful to have found it. My cabinets look amazing. It's very thick vinyl. The adhesion is great. I even took it back over to my local hardware store and the guy.Who usually helps me was also amazed.I brought pictures along and he couldn't believe it.It was better than anything else they suggested

Brittle and cracks easily.
I put these on a Murphy bed. It looks great, it is easy to put on. However, it is very brittle. You can easily snap it by accident. For example, I was handling the Murphy bed to install it in place and lots of places the banding broke off. However, I can see this being good for low traffic areas.

Sticks great
Works as advertised! Nothing much to say, except it is still sticking to where I put it

Had a couple of shelves where a fluid spill cause the original trim to peel off. This product was easy to apply and trim. Just used a standard clothes iron to apply it. Looks good and has stayed on securely since I applied it.

As long as I was careful with alignment, this tape fitted exactly my kitchen shelving thickness. I only had to sand a bevel to finish. Glue was good, I just used a cheap iron. Very happy with the result.
