Solid tool
I recently used this sight pusher to swap out my handgun sights and it worked great. The tool felt solid and well-made, and it applied smooth, even pressure without damaging my slide’s finish, which I was worried about. Installation was straightforward if you follow the instructions and I got my new sights perfectly aligned without any issues. If you’re looking to change your own sights, this tool gets the job done pretty well.

Compact, nice case. Great for range use, personal occasional use.
This rear sight pusher tool works fine for Glock rear press on sights. It does’t hold the gun slide in place by the guide rails on the bottom of the slide but uses a screw to push down on the top of the slide which sits on a just wide enough plate. Not the best method but does work, cocks the slide slightly at a nose down angle once slide is secured. Could use 3 hands to set up, but with a few tries you’ll get it set up without cussing. The machining of the female threads on the frame of this tool are loose, as a former machinist I would call it sloppy. Frame of tool is made from hard aluminum, thick, wide, and sturdy. Pusher block is steel. Light grey anodized color, has increment markings stamped on frame above pusher block but no indicator pointer to reference to it. Comes with two hex wrenches for adjustment of working parts and a nice semi-soft firm storage case, so you can carry it in your range bag and it won’t beat up your gun. Used it first time on a Glock 45 9mm Gen 4 to install better sights. Easily pushed the factory sight off, and just as easily pushed the new one on. The pusher block is square, doesn’t have the tapered edge to match the factory taper on the Glock sights. Surprisingly it worked without damaging them. New sights were almost 90° ends and this fit well with the pusher block. Would be nicer if the pusher block could be flipped over to have both tapered & 90° edges. Note that Gen 1 & 2 Glocks were a very tight interference fit on their rear sights, having experience installing many new sights on these slides resulted in breaking of an all steel factory Glock tool back then when I worked with them. Newer generation Glocks were designed a bit easier to R & R the sights, so if you have a Gen 1 or 2 this tool might struggle with removing them. For use on applications of other brands of guns I can’t say at this time, but I don’t foresee it having any difficulty. Good for minimal use, great for having on the range for those fine adjustments to your eyesight. I’m a former range instructor for a large metropolitan PD, certified Glock armorer, and have even visited the Glock factory in Austria many years ago when they allowed you in. Bought this tool after my own $$$ tool was “borrowed” and never returned. You could say stolen, really. They don’t grow legs and walk away like some people say.

Wow this really works with square shaped slides. Well Made
What an excellent item. I wanted to swap out the mediocre OEM sights on a Taurus tx22 gen 2. A punch did not do the job. Searched amazon and other sites and settled on this excellent and very well made item. It made removing the rear sight very easy (I removed from L to R). Platform secures the slide on all 4 sides and holds it very secure. You do not need to really tighten the holds down, just get them snug (I used masking tape on the slide to help protect its finish, might not be needed). Make sure your slide is sitting flush on the lower platform, NOT ANGLED!! Raise the platform so the U shaped block (remover and installer) is just above the slide, so as not to scratch the slide but get low enough on the sight to get good leverage, also make sure the sight is back in the U block a bit, not right at the outer edge of the block. I did apply a touch of light oil on the U block silver steel bolt to improve ease of movement of it. The OEM sight came out easily and the new sight when in easily (R to L). Centering took some time but was easy. They have a scale marked on the top of this unit but no reference mark on the U block. I suppose a piece of masking tape on the block would help in the centering process as you could reference how much you are moving the sight for centering duties. Heavy and well made this item is. For rear pistol sights with dovetail mounting this is great. Front sights it will be a challenge as the control rod support piece on the slide would interfere with a square setup (base plate) and removing would be difficult. Possibly by removing the bottom platform or jury rigging a wood platform in it's place with a U notch for the slide support, then a front sight could be removed. It may possibly work with a rifle front sight if the rifle is properly supported and squared. The roundness of the barrel would be a challenge to have this hold it squarely but if the rifle is well secured on the butt side it should be doable. I'll find out when I do my grandfathers old savage 99.

Worked for my Glock 43X MOS
Easy to use and screams quality. Really a no brainer since the local shop was gonna charge me more than the cost of this tool to replace them. Front sight is screwed on but I needed this for the rear and it exceeded my expectations.

Night Sites Installed!
Pretty good site pusher for the price. I was certainly skeptical, like most, but found it to be pretty easy and functional. Replaced the suppressor height sites on my Glock 19X MOS with Trijicon night sights. Installation was smooth. I will recommend bore sighting the iron sights if you run a red/green dot. Fractions off can be costly. I gave it 4/5 based on overall quality compared to the premium sight pushers, but if you’re not a gunsmith, I think you can be comfortable with this one.

Impressed
Very sturdy and professional feeling tool. Nothing feels super cheap, worked great for me, and the price was acceptable for what it is. Comes with a decent quality case and fitted foam inside.

I bought my first set of sights and this pusher. Installed seamlessly however I made the mistake of buying XS sights for my first irons. Lessons learned. I recently bought truglos like someone who takes their tools seriously to replace and this sight pusher worked even more wonderfully. If you’re a competent person you can surely put irons on your self ESPECIALLY with this tool. No it didn’t mar my slide and if it did, I wouldn’t cry about it. Yes I read other reviews and was slightly nervous that this thing was gonna suck. Must be a skill issue because this is a well built tool.
