I own a half German Shepherd half Husky dog. She developed Pannus about 2 years ago. My vet advised that the steroid ointment is the only thing that really works well for this but even so , she will probably eventually lose her sight. I looked on the net for an alternative. I found on an alternative medicine veterinary site that this vet used this product for Pannus. Maggie went from not being able to see her treats to catch them, to catching them again, and being able to see several yards away, where before she had a hard time seeing 100 feet. I highly recommend trying it. I give her 2 a day as recommended.
