Nice to keep

I was super excited to get this having worked with Malayan Tapirs before but it’s missing one of the most important details: it’s distinctive white ear tips. It bothers me enough that I plan on painting them myself. Also the scale is kinda weird. It’s pretty small compared to the baby (which at this scale would have lost it’s stripes already) and very small compared to models of species that are of approximately similar size. I don’t know why they decided to make it so small. But I still love it.

Sono rimasto davvero colpito da queste mini figure di animali. Sono fatte benissimo, molto realistiche, curate nei dettagli e con una qualità che sinceramente non mi aspettavo. Secondo me sarebbero perfette anche da collezione, o comunque più adatte a bambini un po’ più grandi, però io le ho usate con mio figlio piccolo per insegnargli i nomi degli animali e sono state utilissime. Gli piacciono tantissimo e ci gioca ogni giorno. Sono talmente belle che sono convinto che quando sarà più grande se le terrà e magari inizierà pure a collezionarle. Acquisto davvero azzeccato.

Es un poco desepcinante el tamaño, es una figura demaciado pequeña, me ubiera gustado que fuera mínimo 1cm más grande y un poco más masiva, del esculpido no tengo nada que decir, sin duda es una pieza de calidad que representa muy bien a esta especie de tapir. Por un momento pensé en regresarla, pero decidí conservarla por que si esta muy bien lograda, solo el tañamao fue el que no me agrado.
