Worked great to upgrade my Ubiquity cloud key+
The Ubiquity Cloud Key UCK G2 Plus is notorious for over heating the little 2.5" HDDs they include, so you can use this cable (in addition to an external SATA power supply) to connect a 3.5" HDD outside the original chassis, keeping it cool, and allowing for way more HDD options. A+ would recommend.

Finally found the 7-pin SATA data EXTENSION cables that I was looking for!
I was looking for a 7-pin SATA data EXTENSION cable, and these work! I have 5 internal hard drives that are connected to my PC as external, with separate SATA data & power cables. This created a tangled mess, and the cables were constantly coming loose whenever i bumped into the drives. As you can imagine, this created quite a problem when trying to boot my PC! If you need 15-pin SATA power cables, then get https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V6QA2A0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Now that I have both SATA data & power cable extensions, I can put these drives in a safer place and not bump into them anymore.

Worked perfect for a Laptop to a Desktop Project
I needed an internal SATA Male to SATA Female Extension cable for my Laptop into a Desktop project. I noticed when it arrived it had plastic "posts" on both sides of the "male" end. I needed it to sit "flush" with the SATA HDD (Hard Disk Drive) enclosure on the Motherboard. So I got out my Dremel tool and used a "cutting" wheel and proceeded to "remove" the posts. It now sits flush. Awesome Sauce !!!

Good cable
It was inexpensive and works great. I have been using it for several weeks without any issues. The clips, on the male end of the cable, break off easy but I needed them broken off so this wasn't an issue for me.

Works, but the plug with the exposed pins is extremely fragel
After reading the reviews I was aware that the connector with the exposed pins are very fragile so I ordered a spare, and I still would up bending one of the pins. Its very cheaply made, the "pins" are flat pieces of copper not glued down, so if the edge of the pin catches it bends.. and you cant see it or feal it. Other than that it worked great once you get it connected

Arrived broken
Arrived with the side pieces of the male end missing. Just inspecting the rest of the end the rest of the plastic came off with barely touching it. Stay away from this cable.

Great Cable
Great little male to female SATA cable. It works with all my SATA ports and its pretty fast. The connectors are very strong, I plug and unplug them every day and they work just fine.
