I installed it in my Thinkware F800 pro and I didn't see any improvements in video quality or removing the shades/glare.

Outstanding product! Far as adding the lense to the dash cam, it is very simple and easy to do. Just read the instructions very carefully and take your time. Make sure you have a good light source and mark the 2 points before you attach the lense. it makes alligning the points so much easier. I used a permant marker on the clear platic lense cover and had no issue allagning it up corretly the 1st time. NOTE: On each side of the lense filter there is a plastic lense protector cover & out of the box that needs to be peeled off before sticking to the dashcam. One side is clear and the other side is blue, the colored side goes on the dash cam lense. Make sure u keep ur finger prints off the inside lense, it is very sticky. Trust me its simple and quick stick once its on the dashcam. My overall review with the dash cam filter lense on my dashcam. the glare and the reflection of the dashboard and windshield is gone. This is at daytime and at night time and now i dont get the curve dashboard effect when i reviewing video. Far as the quality of the video, (NOTE) so far i only reviewed it on my cellphone and NOT my pc. I get better quality on my pc when i reviewing old video. cellphone only: day time, the quality is clear, nice and crisp and outstanding quality video. Cellphone only: Night time: the video seemed a little gritty & dark but again i am NOT a expert on video quality and etc. i have not spent endless hours comparing before and after video (with & out the filter). So this my quick review due to i only spent a few miutes reviewing video only to see if there was a difference and YES there was! Overall for $20 on amazon & It was worth the money and i got no complaints about the filter. The quality is outstanding, all the glare and windshield reflection is gone and that was i was looking to get done! I am very happy i got it!
