Exceptional sounding. Tight accurate fast base & larger soundstage than my internal phono stage of the LP60 AT Turntable. It transformed the sound, corrected the center imaging well & just brought out a complete slightly more warmer sound. Equally detailed and warm at the same time. Exceptional device for someone who wants to try tube based pre amps for the first time for their vinyl player.

Bought this after lots of research. Decided to buy after watching YouTube video of cheapaudioman. Are perfect phono preamp for enhancing sound of vinyl records. Highly satisfied with the product. My vinyls sound extremely good. Happy with the selecter switch. Can choose the sound output suitable for my ear. Also highly recommended for vinyl lovers who cannot afford high end phono preamp. This one does a perfect job. My amplifier and vinyl player has inbuilt phono preamp. This one exceeded my expectations.

I was using an ART Pre DJ preamp foe a few years and just bought this for fun as the fosi preamp has had some great reviews. Great build quality though the tubes need a bit of care and effort to place them properly. This preamp has been a revelation in all senses. Played some of the best sounding LPs in my collection, Alan Parson iRobot MFSL and few other steely dan albums. The low end has improved significantly, great mid range and normal highs. Might try out new tubes at some point but totally satisfied currently.

Mid range is little bit weak, otherwise the package is good

I own marantz receiver with fluance TT. when i connected TT to phono input of the receiver the performance was good but low frequency was not as expected. After connecting this pre amp output to the aux of receiver(not to phono input) has shown excellent performance with very good amplification at all frequency ranges. A perfect preamp for turntables

I found the preamp nice even though I have just used it for about one hour. It has yet to be broken in. You get a tube signature sound in your solid state setup. I am presently using it as a aux preamp and have not tested it for phono.Good value for money.

Bought the amp for my vinyl player. Does the job very well.

I have never written a review on Amazon, or anywhere else that I can remember. But his product seems special. I read the reviews and thought “no way, this can’t be that good”. But I was also looking at a so-called affordable audiophile preamp that cost literally 10 times as much as the Fosi, so it couldn’t hurt to try the little guy. I’m so glad I did. Straight out of the box it put the in-built preamp on my Klipsch The Sixes to shame, it opened up the speakers in a very nice way. And this is before any tube burn in and literally from a cold start. The sound is balanced and inviting. Absolutely perfect for pleasurable listening, I can’t find any harsh edges anywhere. For the price, I was expecting a much muddier sound, but the clarity is surprising. I like clarity, especially on vocals, so this is a plus for me. I’m writing this at the end of a 3-hour listening session, that’s gotta count for something. This little preamp is so good that it made me specifically search for other Fosi gear, I’m about to purchase one of their DACs to test out. You see, products like these bring me hope in the world of Hifi, where every little magic box seems to cost a years’ salary. Good to know one can actually find decent quality at prices that encourage people to experiment, rather than buying something and having to force oneself to like it because the financial commitment is so large. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out on this brand. We’ll done Fosi!

not as attractive as some of Fosi's other products but works very well ... - i use mine with my SL1210 turntable and it does the job of a preamp perfectly well
