I suffer from Interstitial Cystitis and almost everyday I have burning, pressure, pain, so it's hard to tell when I have a UTI or is it just a flare from my IC. Last week it got bad and I took one of these tests, it came up positive, I called my Dr. and he called me in antibiotics and I'm all better! No more constant trips to my Dr. great to have in the house so you can find out sooner and get treated quicker and feel better sooner! A must have, definitely if you suffer from a lot of UTI's.

As an ex-Medical Technologist with many, many UTI's, I had to try these to save trips to the Urologist when there is no real infection. I thought they didn't work correctly the first time as the combination of my results seemed confusing. I worked mostly Hematology for the last years of my career and wasn't up to date on Urinalysis, but my husband is a Microbiologist and was a little confused as well. Long story short: Positive UTI with an unusual organism. I immediately bought more and will use them often.

Helpful to home test at first sign of symptoms! However, have gotten positive-negative results at times in comparison to physician's tests!

I had a false positive reading. I had a urine test and blood work at Kaiser and all was negative. I guess a false positive is better than a false negative. I thought I would try since my friend got very sick from a UTI and told me they were over the counter now. I know how to do these things correctly and followed all instructions. Maybe it was an older one or something since so many rave about it.
