Fun activity
This was a really fun project and the kit made it really easy to do. The ceramic leaf and heart it came with are so cute! The person I was doing the kit with didn’t want to break the leaf initially because it was too cute. The ceramic heart and leaf are good quality. It took us a couple attempts to break which I think was perfect because the breaks were not too hard to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and this was a great kit. The epoxy does dry really fast so it’s best to mix a little at a time and then make more as it dries up. We had to remix three or four times. The only thing I disliked in the kit was the paint brushes. These were not the right fit for this project and it fell apart as we were doing the project. It was much easier to use the other end of the paint brush to put the epoxy on.

this feels like a cheep introduction into kintsugi similar to getting water colors from walmart.
the instructions what little there is are in broken English but understandable. The epoxy works and so do the brushes. However anyone who has seen kintsugi on youtube or has read about it there are a few things left out of the process so I would recommend this as an item to introduce kids or people to kintsugi without overwhelming them with all the intricate details. overall it's a fun starting place for the price.

Nice
Great practice kit. I ordered because I wanted to learn Kintsugi before tackling repair of some broken tiles on my mantle. Did this kit with a friend over a few glasses of rose. We had fun. Comes with plenty of material. The glue is really sticky, sets up fast. This is a tricky art form, takes some practice to get good. This is an appopriate activity for kids over 8 or 9 years old, and adults of any age with a steady hand.

Fast setting and strong
Love the quality and durability. The gold powder is super shiny but can be super messy so be prepared with something underneath. It sets super fast so you have to make small batches and work fast.

More yellowish than gold
I planned to create this for a display and a gift however the yellow-like powder does not have a elegant appearance. Opt for more metallic gold dust options. Also I could not open the glue with scissors or razor. I happen to have another on hand. Also the ceramics they provide are too pretty and strong to break. Also plan on needing more brush heads for more products and do not use the glue dish it is too nice for a one time use. Would be better if the provided cheap plastic trays and brush heads instead. Their directions were good and thoughtful. The project is fun and simple.

Beautiful gift for any occasion
I ordered this Riomh brand Kintsugi repair kit for our older daughter for an engagement gift. This Kintsugi repair kit comes with two mini practice ceramic bowls, one is heart shaped and the other is leaf shaped. This kit is a starter Kintsugi craft kit with enough supplies to give yourself a feeling of what Kintsugi is all about and if your decide to do more with this craft, you'll be able to get the supplies and go from thereKintsugi kits are the perfect gift for newlyweds because repairing pottery with a precious metal like gold marks and imperfections of the item are emphasized, giving it a new beauty and character while giving the object a renewed longevity.Kintsugi is an age-old Japanese art form that dates back to the 15th century. According to Artsper Magazine, "A 15th century, Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa broke a Chinese tea bowl. He then sent it back to China to have it repaired, but it was sent back sutured with displeasing staples. The technique, first seen in ancient Greece, was customary in Japan and elsewhere. Yoshimasa then asked his artisans to instead invent the Japanese art of mending ceramics with gold. In the 15th century, Japan was still under Chinese influence, but the sophistication of Japanese culture continued to grow."What an incredibly beautiful way to begin a beautiful relationship than having a Kintsugi ceremony and begin a perfect relationship by mending an imperfect vessel? This kit is perfect for anyone who enjoys crafts, loves beautiful objects, or both. This kit is great for absolutely any occasion, or no occasion at all. Buy it for yourself, or for the crafter on your gift list.Highly Recommended!

Faulty epoxy
The epoxy that came with the kit was rock solid, rendering it useless. This is the main component of the kit, so that was a bit frustrating. The rest of the kit was nice, but now I need to go buy some epoxy in order to use it. In the future, I would just save yourself the money and buy the only two ingredients you need- gold dust to mix with epoxy, and epoxy. wah-la, you have the kit.
