This headphone was actually a birthday gift for my wife , the device is lighter , good bass and music quality and off course acceptable ANC , she love it and she can't survive with it

Good output and balanced bass and treble as well as comfortable. Battery life is also amazing, good recommendation for personal use for movies, music or a gift idea to an audiophile. It also comes with a handy and durable fabric carry pouch. Would definitely buy again!

Great sound.

I don’t know what happened to Sony, but the stock audio profile is really bad. The mid were low and sounded like in a tin-can. There was not much surround and sound premiumness. Expected better

Sound quality is decent. The mic and noise filtering is okayish. That's where the positives end. The headset is extremely sensitive to external impacts. Say you want to increase the volume and decide to run your fingers on the touch panel. Two things will happen during this mission of yours. First, the moment your finger touches the plastic housing, the little tap from your finger will explode to a bang thanks to how the headset is designed. Then, the sound of your finger dragging on the plastic housing will again be amplified and to a terrible noise of dragging a body bag across a thorn field. The bang and dragging noise will keep repeating as you need to adjust the volume increase and decrease. All parts of the headset are equally sensitive to touch. If you happen to turn your head and the headset touches the seat's headrest or the chair's frame, the bang and the dragging noise come up again. It's just a beautiful design. The headphones don't play will with different apps. Sometimes, the mic won't work for a meeting app like Teams and other times it'll work. Why? No idea. Regret buying an expensive noise cancelling headset that can't do its job properly.

Writing the review after over 1 year of gentle usage. - Amazing sound. - Amazing Noise Cancellation. - Not great touch menu, a lot of false commands I didn't intend to issue, would be happy to disable it. Should be physical buttons. - Worst possible ear pads. Just check the picture. Thankfully, replacement pads are available. But the fact that the market for them even exists should tell you all you need to know about the quality. P.S. My wife bought her Sehnheisers at the same time. Her usage pattern is very similar to mine. They look today like she just took them out of packaging. Sony, it is possible to do the ear pads better.
