i was watching How It’s Made on Discovery Channel and this candy was being featured so i just hadda try it!

I didn’t expect them to be fruit flavored because when you look at the ingredients list pictured there’s nothing that indicates added flavoring even though it says it’s fruit juice flavored in the description. It wasn’t a problem for me as I really just wanted the cute marzipan treats. However, a few were banged up and kind of mushed out of shape from shipping. Again, I wasn’t too concerned about it because it happens and I was going to eat it anyway. My PROBLEM was the yellow colored marzipan shaped like lemons. I do not know what they put in the food coloring but whatever it was made it taste like I was eating nail polish someone attempted to turn into candy. That was not fun. Luckily, there were only 2 in my box-just enough to test and see if it was just a one-off. Nope, the yellow ones are terrible and are the only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. If you’re familiar with marzipan then you’ll more than likely enjoy these overall. They are a bit on the sweeter side but I think the added sugars just help them have a little more crisp edge on them that holds the little fruit shapes better than if they’d had less sugar in them.

These are not good. They taste overly sweet, they don’t look fresh either. I would not buy these again, nor will I eat them. I tried 1 and that was enough. If you plan to gift these it’s best you try them yourself first. If you’ve never had fresh real marzipan treats, please do yourself a favor and find them.

These are the est Marzipan fruits I have had in decades! I wish I had thought to look here sooner. They were fress and tasty!! HIghly recommend this product

I wanted to like these so much but they really don’t have any other flavor besides just pure sugar and each individual one is the same flavor - which would have been find if I liked the taste to begin with. Bumped it up to 3 stars just because it looks exactly as advertised
