Fantastic products pool entryway restoration
This was my first time using Total Boat productsThe top edge of our pool, steps, entryway had cracks so when doing a restoration with a Bondo product and then putting the Total Tread Kingston gray, we love the texture and sheen, but the color needed a little more depth so after calling the manufacturer , they recommended Wet Edge product we intermixed Kingston gray with the black until we got the color we we’re looking for. We are so very happy we used these products. Sheen is not too much and the non-skid is just enough. We are very satisfied and happy. We use the pool heavily over this memorial day weekend with over 40 people and dogs going in and out and it has held up with no signs of failure or scratching. I would highly recommend this product to anyone needing to redo any type of fiberglass area as it worked fantastic for us.

Take your time - it works great!
It looks as good as you want it to. I used the primer and thinner. I did sand the primer and the first coat. I’m using it for a homemade camper. I would simply recommend considering your color choice - the black is absolutely beautiful but it does show everything. I am still very happy with it. My application process isn’t perfect but the paint is.

Great paint! I rolled it on my Newport 16 ...
Great paint! I rolled it on my Newport 16 hull and hardly had to tip it with a brush. Here's a tip - thin the paint in your roller tray with 1 or 2 cap fulls of the brushing thinner. That helped the paint flow evenly and reduced the orange peel effect from the roller.

Total boat
They named this wrong. Should be total garbage. In 50 years of painting it's the worst paint I ever used.

Spray like finish.
Great product. Covers well, you may have to thin it depending on the humidity and temp. I use interlux 303 to thin it with. It turns out great everytime.

Junk
This stuff is over priced, over rated, and junk. I attempted to use on my fiberglass boat (yes the surface was properly prepped)well; it wrinkled everywhere, bumped, and peeled on about 80% of the paint job. Now I get to remove it all and paint again. What a GIANT WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. I tested out the Rust-Olieum Enamel to use instead of the total boat crap and it works beautifully. Highly recommend using that option and NOT this total boat. The difference is remarkable . Look how smooth the grey and red is and how terrible the black is (total boat)
