Bought for my 2013 Chevy Malibu to replace an older fob i got from amazon years back that randomly stopped working. Took both new keys and the nonworking fob to the dealer to have them cut as I was gonna program them myself and the parts department actually cut them for free. I was expecting to pay about $15-$25 a key to get them cut, so to get them for free was epic lol. Got home and watched a quick youtube video on how to program them. 1. Put in old key. 2. Turn forward, listen for 5 dings. 3. Turn back to lock position and remove. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 for each new key. 5. I'm not sure if this was a step or not but i put the original key back in and repeated steps 1-3 then tested the lock/unlock on the new keys and it worked fine. Process legit takes under a minute to perform. Great value as getting a fob for $9 a piece is a great deal especially when they work. Buttons felt good and worked great.

I ordered and received this two-pack of key fobs back in July of this year, as my poor key fob had finally fallen apart. It got to the point where the buttons fell off and I had to poke down into the holes to make it function, so I had no choice but to replace it. These keys do come uncut, but it only cost me $10 to have the car dealership cut it (ideally, you'll keep your old key fob to have them copy it when they do the cut, but maybe they can do without, I'm not sure, you'll need to ask if that's your situation). Programming it was super easy, I found instructions on YouTube and I had my key good to go within ~30 minutes. Now, the downsides to this key fob. 1.) It sticks. I only got one of the keys cut, and for whatever reason, the actual key doesn't want to disengage from its little slot/holster. I have to wrestle with it to make it come out. I don't understand why it does this, since it's not an old key loaded with gunk. 2.) The communication between my car and the key fob is sluggish. My old key fob, the actual Chevy one, was quick/prompt. With this one, I sometimes have to button mash it or hold the button down for forever to make it unlock my car. I can be standing NEXT to my car and it still has a delay. I don't understand why it does this, either, but it's super annoying. I've probably dropped it a few times, but it's still intact. I launched my previous one more times than I can count. Buttons are operational, key comes out when I fight it. Functionally, it's a good key fob. It's durable enough to handle life's little accidental drops, but the two other issues are why I have to dock a star. I haven't had any issues with the battery life just yet, so I don't know what the longevity of that is. I'll update this review again when that happens. If I figure out/fix the key release issue, or have any new issues, I'll update on that, too.

I bought this key fob for my lacrosse 11/22/25. It works perfectly fine after being cut and programmed. Easy process, package was sufficient nothing broke. 10/10 would recommend

I purchase this item base that it looked just like the one that I had and it seemed to have good reviews. But I could not program it after trying. The methods that were told to me by the links that they sent me and I looked on youtube to see if I could find somebody to help me out with it. I finally gave up on it and decided to call a professional, and they said they could do it. But I'm attempting to do it. The car would not start unless I installed it into the center. Console slot and as I exit the car. And close the door it would not chirp. To let me know that I. Left the keys in the car. It cost me $220 for the person to get it to work. The best that he could, he said either the transmitter would not work a 100% with my car. Or there is something wrong with the translator. Amazon said to return it, but the units have already been altered to work with my car to the best that it can. I could have sent the item back as Amazon explain. But I didn't know that if it was me. Or the item I took the chance. And decided to get a professional and now amazon said the best I can do is refund me for this translators. I mean the car is relatively new and to have to go through this kind of process to go to get it to start by putting it in the slot in the center console and it does not chirp to alert you that you left. The keys in the car is very disappointing.

I ordered these, mine were old and worn out. Very good price, well made. You will have to go to a locksmith and have the keys cut but they do give you the original back. Im so happy with this product

Arrived on time and was exactly as described. Key blade was easy and relatively inexpensive to have cut. I programmed myself and it was a snap. All functions work as they should, although function buttons are a little stiff, as a few others have mentioned, but they also appear to be a solid button rather than a flimsy rubber cap so this is not a big deal for me. Case appears to be quite sturdy, more so than the OEM fob, to be honest. Very pleased with product upon first impressions and so much cheaper than dealer.

The dealership and the locksmith will tell you that you need to spend hundreds to buy and program vehicle fobs. Not true. Just buy this product and program them yourself in about a minute. You do have to get them cut for your vehicle, but that doesn't cost much. Just don't let the locksmith tell you that you can't program them yourself. They are the same quality as the original. Great value.

Key came uncut & it cost me more to cut and program at locksmith. They also said the battery needs to be replaced soon as it does not have a long lasting life. Overall it was a good buy. Despite paying for cutting and programming I still saved money

Apparently these key Phobos only work for a few months. I was finally able to find someone To install and he said he could do it however everyone he’s done this for comes back few months later to advise that it’s no longer working. Unfortunately my return window closed in July now I’m stuck with this product. Wish I had read the reviews first.
