Meh
Technically it's functional, but I would not purchase again. So heres the deal, it maxes out at around 7Mbps (that's bits not bytes) when test using a computer. The connection drops and comes back every 10 seconds when in use. I contacted the seller and they responded saying this is normal and the connection drops when not in use, ok.I proceeded to install my 8mp 20fps camera to see if this was the case. The camera does connect and stream but inconsistently. When loading the stream the connection will fail multiple times before a good connection is established. I am recording to an Sd card so this isn't a huge issue for me but if you were using an NVR this my be problematic.I have the same camera connected using poe active coax adapters and it work flawlessly and loads much faster. but those cost 50/70$ depending where you get them. Conclusion, for something as crucial as security I would not use this product, actually for anything crucial enough to need a digital connection, which is what this product is for.

Not 8-wired
There are only 3 wires running into the RJ-45 connector, so these will not transmit low voltage power. I bought them to run data through coaxial cable to a low-voltage POE. Fail.

Game changer
Worked just as described thanks to the flexi wire for beautifully into the junction box. Upgrade was simple and beautiful. I used these to swap out TVI cameras for Reolink 4K IP worked great. Very satisfied

Good device for IP cameras using coax
Used to connect an IP camera in my rear shed which had a coax run. Worked very well!
