The photos make you think that this is a custom phone holder for Grand Cherokee. But it's just a generic phone holder that attaches to the air vents of any car.

This does not fit Grand Cherokee, the dashboard bracket description as shown in photos is not supplied. False advertising

Pros: Fit: fantastic, snug fit when you have the proper model vehicle for the unit. Looks like a factory installed holder. It's pretty tight to install (you're gonna have to really push to get it to click into place if you have the rubber dash) but once it's on, it's not going anywhere. Connection: I actually swapped the phone holder piece with a magnetic piece from another holder, and it fit perfectly. So if you have another mount you like that utilizes the "ball joint" style connection, it should work. Assuming they are pretty standard in size. Cons: Can't see any, except that maybe it wouldn't fit if you don't verify the model year and dash configuration before ordering.

Doesn’t fit throw it in the trash.

This clipped over the bezel on my 15 grand cherokee, but it does indent the dash a little bit. If you have the plastic dash and not leather like I do then I wouldn’t be concerned. The phone clip itself doesn’t hold large phone well, I just took it off and used a wireless charger with the back clip. Still can’t beat the price compared to others specific for a grand cherokee.

I drive a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland and it’s been so hard to find something to mount to my dash to hold my phone and found this! The reviews had me a little worried especially after reading one that said it didn’t work in their 2014 Jeep, but I took a chance! Boy am I glad I did! It was some work to get the top two parts to go under the dash but with the help of a butter knife I managed to get them not in and snap it down! It works great! I agree there’s some room for improvement but hey, my phone mounts to my dash and doesn’t fall! My steelie peeled the paint off of my dash when it got hot from outside heat and this even covered that spot! I do with it was easier to put on and I’ve seen some that open and close on the phone with a button. This one you have to pull open the arms to make it release. I have a case on my phone that isn’t overly large like an otterbox so it fits great!
