Not sure how the "Removable Snapfit SL2 ear pads add warmth and are audio-chip compatible" that are in the description work and i did not get the "INCLUDED: Smith helmet bag". The last time I went skiing it was a nice day opening the vents seemed to help from over heating, I have not skied on any really warm days, so I have not needed to remove the ear pads has not been an issue. Review: I purchased the medium and it fit well. It’s easy to adjust the knob on the back to loosen or tighten the helmet to the shape of your head. I was also able to wear it with and without a beanie, with no issues. My Spy+ goggles also fit seamlessly. My only complaint would be that the ear pads are very thick, making it difficult to hear, even when sitting next to someone on the chairlift.

Got this on sales, used it on a 6day trip. It’s a good looking solid helmet, with Mips and ventilation control on this pice point is great. Would like to see improvement on ear pad cutout to avoid cramping on ear, magnetic buckle for convenience and button on goggle retainer for security.

I was worried it would be in the way (I have never used a helmet in my whole life) but it was so light-weight, warm and fit perfectly, that I didn't notice it at all!
