Do I need something special to connect this to a racktime rack? It doesn't seem to click in.

You don't need something special. I found instead of pushing down to click in, you have to line it up and slide it in to click in. Also do you have a 2.0 racktime rack? I'm not sure but they may have made some changes in the way it connects since 1.0? I love my new racktime 2.0 rear bag on my new 2.0 racktime rack! Works GREAT!!! BOTH VERY HIGH QUALITY!!!
