L’Oreal Paris Colorista Hair Bleach, Highlights Hair Color Kit, 1 Hair Bleach Kit

I have my cosmetology license and can buy professional salon quality products, even though I’ve never actually worked in a salon. After moving and switching to well water, every “top tier” bleach I tried was turning my hair orange no matter how much I toned it. Out of frustration, I gave this a try and I’m so glad I did! This is literally the only product that works on my hair and gives me the perfect blonde. I honestly can’t explain why, but it works better than anything else I’ve tried. Of course, everyone’s hair is different, so results may vary, but if you’ve been struggling to find a bleach that actually lightens to the blonde you want, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try. For reference, I follow it up with Wella Liquid Toner T11 and a touch of 050 mixed with 20 volume developer, and it comes out perfect every time.

This is my FAVORITE "drug store bleach" on the market, and I've tried 5-6 different ones. After finishing college and having a hard time finding a career, I decided to cut back on all my "luxury" expenses, like nails, salon etc and started doing my highlights myself. I have naturally wavy light brown hair and this was easy to use and looked good! After using it several times I have definitely learned some tips and tricks and I'm not sure why, but it almost always gives me quality results. One time I left it on too long and it did turn my hair kind of orange, but that was my fault. It's also a great price! So if you are looking for a DIY easy to use bleaching kit and have darker hair, this might be a great fit for you!

I color my hair all the time. I am not trained in any way but have done a long time trial by error. I usually mix my powder with a developer but was looking to get a darker color that I did not like out of my hair and had to run to the store to get what I could. This was one of the only bleach boxes you can get at CVS or Walgreens. I did not have high hopes but was pleasantly surprised. It worked very fast on my hair which was bleached blond under a dark brown. I ended up doing an Ombre type look not to ruin my hair but to give it dimension. If you are in a situation as I was watch the color closely because it worked very fast on mine, cutting through a darker color to reveal the blonde under it. If you leave too long your hair will burn. Be sure to follow up with protein filler to keep your hair healthy. Not a professional.

this is my go-to for highlights. It's hard to find a highlighting kit these days, so I tried this one. I've been using it for about a year on my dark blonde hair to add highlights. It does the job, but does leave it slightly brassy/yellow. I wish there was a permanent toner included. the purple conditioner helps a little.

My favorite hair bleach. It doesn’t burn your scalp. It’s nice and gentle but works. I use it for my roots before using other Colorista dye.

The product came in perfect condition, the application is easy, I just didn't like how my hair looked after I applied it, it was super hard

I had high hopes for this bleach, but unfortunately it was a bad experience. The product didn’t lift my hair evenly at all—some sections were bright while others stayed brassy, even though I followed the instructions carefully. On top of that, it left my hair feeling very dry and brittle after just one use. I also noticed a lot of breakage when I brushed it out. The smell was extremely strong and unpleasant too. I ended up having to go to a salon to fix the uneven color, which cost me way more than the box itself. I wouldn’t recommend this product if you care about the health of your hair.

Works great on dark blonde hair. I would suggest only the darkest of blondes use this color bleach. It works fantastic. Left on my hair 1 hour. I did highlights NOT my entire head. If you remove too early under the hour you will be orange or brassy. My hair feels silky, no damage. I posted a before and after

Everyone's hair is different, I understand that. For me, I left the product in for an hour or so and they colour was extremely light.
