Inexpensive, iconic lifestyle sport shoe you can also play tennis in (if you're old)
I started buying Tretorn about 15 years ago and currently have about 10 pair in active service: the classic canvas Nylite (Bjorn Borg), suede, leather; plus I have rubber rain shoes and boots and wellies. They started out 125 or more years ago making rubber boots and then started making tennis shoes in the '60s for the likes of Borg. The Nylite canvas fit right, are comfortable for walking, look great with khakis and a blazer at the club or around town, and you can STILL play a set of tennis in them if you are like me, a contemporary of ... Bjorn Borg. If they get dirty, just throw them in the washer and stuff some newspaper in them when they dry. Great, iconic, lifestyle tennis shoes, in a class all their own. Also, go extremely well with your Adidas iconic Beckenbauer track suit. If you want to hang out at the terrace cafe for an hour of a Saturday AM, and you are the kind of person who cares about this stuff, somebody will ask you 'where did you get those shoes?' Once, a very attractive 50-ish woman also in a Franz Beckenbauer track suit approached me and asked that exact question. I don't think you can go wrong, honestly, whether you are 16, 26. 56 or 76. I think age is mostly in your head, and style is timeless.

Shoes in the 90’s
Always been a pretty good shoe. Growing up, I’ve always wanted to have one. True to size. Love the style, really comfortable for daily use

Comfort and breathability work well together
the Tretorn product is generally excellent, and this model is no exception, the upper is cotton canvas and unlined, they fit like other Tretorn shoes and are quite comfortable and cool. Although I could live without the white swoosh on the sides, it's not a deal breaker for me and the shoe is nice looking enough. The low price reflects the materials and construction, the soles are springy and pleasant, and I think these are well worth the money and are very adequate canvas sneakers.

Vintage Perfection
Fantastic. Fit's my 66 year old foot the same way they did in 1977. Except no blue swash (can't say swoosh cause that may be Nike's and they may get angry and remove the reference). Perfect fit to size. Very light also. Certainly different from 2025 era tennis shoes. A bit of a flat arch, but I only plan to walk around in them to prove I know what they are.

Comfoft plus.
Used for years on tennis courts and racquet ball courts. Best comfort and flexability ever. Glad to see original design and cushioning available again. Like a pair of slippers even if not on courts any more.

Not bad, but certainly not good
The pros: good style, very comfortable shoes The cons: the fabric of the shoe catches everything and is nearly impossible to remove (even using the best white shoe cleaner there is, pink magic). It’s just a design flaw, the fabric is not good for a white shoe

Tretorn!
Who grew up in the 80s and didn't see Tretorns around? I love these shoes. They replace a pair of white Nylites I had for years which ultimately became too worn to wear. And by years, I mean about 7 years. Fit is perfect. Pairs very well with white pants, or to add a bit of something-something to the standard men's red-shorts-blue-shirt ensemble. As they are canvas, break in was nonexistent. Only real issue is something Tretorn can't do anything about, really - they are white, so don't spill things on them. Very good shoes, very comfortable, and ideal for casual outfits.
