My daughter loves this owl. I bought it specifically because we live in an area where we can lose the power for days at a time in the winter. We always sleep with a fan on so I didn't want bed time to be completely disrupted if the power goes out. I decided to go with this noise machine for her specifically because of the night light and the owl shape. She loves it. The soft orange glow coming from the owl is just enough, and the music that plays is very soothing. There are three music tones and four "white noise" tones that you can play. They consist of; rock a by baby, twinkle twinkle little star, go to sleep little baby, a static noise, sushing, the ocean, and a babbling brook. The audio has an adjustable volume and a timer that consists of 60 minutes, 30 minutes, and off so there is no timer. I was genuinely suprised at the sound quality and (as my two year old has already tested,) it's very durable. I bought la luna sound machines for much more than this and I would actually trade them in for another owl. I do wish that it had the option to plug in as well as running on batteries, or even came with rechargeable batteries. However, for the price point I have zero complaints.

I absolutely love love love this little owl! So much that 2 mins after I tried it I ordered a second one!! ❤️The perfect product for on the go in the car so my son will no longer be afraid at night. The fact that you can adjust the volume super low is a huge plus. I just can’t say enough great things . Light glow is just right. So much time was spent on every aspect of this product. The designer either has children or really listens to “moms” I wish there were more perfect baby products out there. The price is right as well! Lastly the personal note from the creator and the free gift .. the mini screw driver that’s included I mean amazing ! You thought of everything. plus the many times he Thanks you for your purchase on the box in the note . Wow I’m so amazed. I never really write reviews but I was so compelled to do so. I am truly thankful for your product. You Completely look out for the moms of this world! So nice to see that not everyone is just trying to pass of any old thing to make money. I couldn’t be happier thanks so much. I will be buying over and over for every baby shower in the future and will definitely recommend to all moms as a must have! Xo

*Update* After writing about my battery cover breaking, the company reached out to me and shipped me a replacement owl for free. They really went above and beyond, in m opinion. I've changed my rating to 5 stars as a result. I want to start this off by saying that this is a great portable sound machine. I hang it from a hook in the ceiling to my toddlers room, and it works great for soothing her to sleep, and as a night light. Battery life isnt too bad, I guess. I use it at least three times a day for an hour, and it needs fresh batteries after about a week and a half. There is a tiny screw that holds the battery cover down, though, and it broke in half on the third time I replaced the batteries. Now I just have the cover duct taped. Its not a big deal to me, but it might be an issue for others.

We bought this for our daughter when she was about 4 weeks old and it has been wonderful to use! Initially we used it for naps in her bassinet, but it’s also been used in her crib, in her car seat (way better than having to continue to drive around while my hubby runs into the store), and in her pack n play at relatives houses. We’ve even used it when she’s been colicky while eating or bathing!! It’s such a lifesaver. We haven’t had a need for the nightlight yet, but it’s a good dim light. We’ve decided it will go in all future baby shower gifts to new parents because we’ve loved it so much! My only complaint is that from what I’ve read this should run continuous until the battery dies or unless you have the timer on. Ever since we’ve had ours, it turns off at an hour no matter what we do. And if our daughter is sleeping, the sudden silence either stirs her or wakes her up if we can’t get there in time to turn it back on. Not sure if we have an updated model that they took this feature out of..? EDIT: Mom brain was in full activation. I had the 60 minute timer turned on. Good news is, the timer works great!

This little sound machine was perfect, for about a day and a half. The sound and light options are great, the timer is very helpful, and the portability is convenient. Our daughter loved it and so did we. She loved it so much that she wanted to hold it and it only took one drop from about 18 inches off the ground for something inside to break loose and ruin the fun. Not sure what broke loose, as I couldn't find a way to open the unit without doing more damage. But whatever it is, it's blocking the "belly light" on the owl and causing the unit to malfunction. I gave this 2 stars, because if you are able to always keep it out of the hands of your littles, it should work great as a portable sound machine for you. But that's just it...it's meant to be portable. "Portable" usually implies some level of durability. This unit isn't meant to be plugged in on a high shelf out of the reach. But if your kiddos get hold of it, there's a good chance it will break easily. In my opinion, something small and portable like this should prove a lot more durable. Instead, we spent $15 on something that was great in theory, but only lasted a day and a half. EDITED TO ADD: Almost immediately after my first review, the seller contacted us to ask if they could replace our broken unit, free of charge. They didn't even ask us to send our first one back, and the new one arrived within a couple of days. I am adding two stars based on this experience with customer service. The new unit works great and again, our daughter loves it. We just have to keep her from handling it, which is difficult for something she loves so much and wants to carry with her.

Life saver. Really durable, Still have this product 2 years in. Would recommend & repurchase. Great adjustability with noise level & light brightness. I love that it is rechargeable so the charge last a long time even through the night. Its a great size & the silicone stap is a plus to hang on anything. My son doesnt sleep with out it easy to change lullaby or sound & has a timer to set it to shut off.

We had a product similar to this but without the light, and it required batteries. The dang thing kept leaking battery acid after multiple changes, so we had to toss it. This product replaced it and is INFINITELY superior. The light is great and works from across the room, though it's not bright enough for breastfeeding or bottlefeeding, only as a nightlight. The speakers are surprisingly loud for their size. At max volume, the owl can sit across the room from my son and drown out any noise from the hallways and adjacent bedroom. I am buying a second for our foster children's room, so hopefully neither of our littles can wake each other up and night (only me). UPDATE Yes, we are buying a third one. Our sweet foster son is going home soon and he LOVES his owl noise machine. He is autistic and struggles to sleep well and wakes at any noise, but this machine allows him to sleep for 10 hours straight through! He only wakes up if I've not charged in in a couple days and it dies. Then he comes looking for me to plug it in to charge. This little gadget is my go-to baby shower gift now. I really cannot say enough good things about it. Additionallly, it's quite durable! My 1-yr.-old plays with it and drops it, bangs it, and chews on it. There are no cracks in the plastic, diminished sound quality, nothing! Childproof and a must-have.

This is such a great product. My baby loves it. It helps her fall asleep when on the road. I like the volume control. It has music, 3 songs to choose from and they just play over and over. It has some nature sounds as well as white noise. The night is very soothing as well, not too bright. Perfect at night. I do agree with some other reviews that have said the battery compartment is very difficult to change batteries. You have to have a screw and it is not easy by any means to close. And we have had to change batteries twice already in about 2 months, if not sooner. If the battery compartment was better it would be phenomenal for parents. Still a good product.
