I think, as a "Good Vacuum Lover" that the Shark Vertex Pro Cordless I682H Vacuum is the best all around vacuum for everyday use that I have ever purchased. I do not write reviews but in this case I felt the need to. This Vac has 2 rolls contacting the floor where the 1st roll feeds the 2nd roll and has a strong suction through a rectangle pipe that even picks up my wife's long hair that falls out or that she just throws on the floor after brushing. The long hair very rarely winds around the 1st roll and does not wind around the 2nd like most vacuums. (don't know how) Best part even the kids in the family love to vacuum their room and the house because its' easy and they can see the results in the dust compartment. The battery lasts as well as can be inspected. Hard to get the family to dump the dust or change the battery eventhough its' easy. If you buy be sure to read the instructions or at read least about the controls because there are 2 speeds, On and what I call ''High Gear". Normal corded vacuums have a "Start/Run" built in and I think in cordless it is just manual. It had been a year of use, I bought another one exactly the same because of concern they would stop mfg it like everything else that is any good they stop making and it can't be found

I had no idea how much disgusting stuff was lurking in my carpets being ignored by my ancient Monster of a vacuum. My friend & I were chatting one night, she recommended this Shark as she had an earlier model & loved it. I ordered it right then, and eagerly expected its arrival 2 days later. Got my tracking notification and discovered I'd actually ordered 2! Whoops, might've been the vodka... Anyhoo, it's a Mighty Mouse! Half the weight of the old Monster, 5x as effective, easy dirtcup emptying, and so low profile that I really don't need to use the flex feature, but it's cool too! Took a minute to get used to it being top-heavy (as opposed to the motor weight being on the floor with the Monster) but no biggie. Easy to switch between hard surfaces & carpet settings, 3 power levels, and excellent battery life. Having 2 batteries is a bonus, and the charging station is cool. The batteries charge quickly too. Told my friend I loved it, admitted I drunkenly ordered 2 & had to return the extra, but she volunteered to take it off my hands so now we both have brand new Mighty Mouses!

Had to replace an older DuoClean and landed on this one. I like the rubber fin on the second roller, vs a brush so that hair doesn’t get wrapped around it. It came with 2 batteries, each lasting about 60 minutes, so it’s nice to have a back up ready if you are doing a larger area or using higher power settings. Getting used to the bend feature on the handle. Makes it seem a little flimsy, but it is nice to get under lower furniture. Not a huge fan of the main handle, it’s bigger and longer than my older model. With the crevice attachment on it’s about 3 feet long, and almost awkward to handle. Easy to empty the trash, and everything clicks and in clicks smoothly. Wheels on the head are really smooth and roll easy. Has good power and suction so far. Has carpet and hard floor modes, and high, medium and low power settings. Like that the display gives you a battery percentage.

Works very well. Comes with 2 rechargeable batteries, strong suction power, easy and light to use.

Purchased the vacuum a little over a year ago, used about once a week, sometimes a little less often. My wife is always careful with things, never dropped or handled harshly.... and it broke. "No big deal", you think to yourself, they tout a 5 year warranty making it look like they stand behind their product. Except it's not a real warranty. The wand, which broke is a "wear item", you know, like a filter according to support. Everyone knows there is absolutely no difference between a filter and a wand of a vacuum, they are basically same thing. So long story short, you purchase a vacuum for 350 dollars, and every year or so you have to add $40 to the running cost for a new wand because with minimum usage it will bust at that rate. Now let's talk some other real issues with Shark. They tout filtration and suction but all of that deteriorates week 1. You feel like "wow, this is amazing" on day 1, and by month 3 you are like "umm this thing is barely better than my old 5 year old vacuum". I have tried to blow it out with pressured air from my compressor, clean it, wash filters, replace them, you name it. There is no solution to building a cheap piece of crap that only performs on 1 day. So save yourself the hassle, save your money in the long run and purchase a quality item like Miele or Dyson because this company is a hot pile of garbage masquerading as legitimate. We had a Shark upright vacuum and now this and I can tell you both had exactly same issues. Cheap parts, cheap build, bad support. Definitely going to purchase a Miele as a replacement and never touch another Shark item again.
