It is a beautiful watch, more so than I had hoped. I understand why these watches are either loved or hated, I love mine. I did try, however, to contact Amazon to ask if it is definitely genuine, for two reasons. Firstly, I have seen YouTube videos and reviews where people mention the box the watch comes in, and mine just came in a plain white cardboard box - secondly, despite the news on the internet that someone recently broke the world record for deepest scuba dive ever whilst wearing a Vostok Amphibia, the instructions clearly state this watch is not suitable for scuba diving. Now that’s fine it it’s true as I haven’t scuba dived for years now, and I want to wear the watch for snorkelling, which the instructions say is okay - but it makes me wonder! This is from the extra instructions which are in English, perhaps it is a mid-translation, but the listing on Amazon did say the watch is for Scuba… if I had been able to contact Amazon for clarification I could tell you, but unfortunately, and as is normal these days, they make themselves very difficult to contact.

The watch looked exactly as advertised. Very pleased with it.

Great looking watch and easy to modify. Nautical theme makes it good for summer wear. Can’t wait.

I perform mechanic and chemical handling at work. After 6 years I need to send my first Vostok for cleaning. So bought this second Vostok. Haven't broken a Vostok, so sticking with the brand.
