Sturdy design, muscule and joint pain relief
We bought this lamp because we experience muscles and joints pain regularly. We loved the mild warmth and relaxation the therapy provides to the stiff muscles and thus providing pain relief. The lamp is easy to use, the design is sturdy and it has a heavy base which allows to stretch it without the lamp falling. It is also convenient to use because you can't use the heating pad for certain parts of body (like face) and the light works for everything. We are happy to be able to help ourselves at home and really enjoy it. When you know your body and you know what's gonna happen if your muscles started cramping or stiffening - you can prevent the problem with this simple and safe home therapy. I'm gonna try to use it for skin problems like wound healing, it's cool when you can use one device for various problems! I hope my review will help other people!

Shockingly well built
This lamp is super quick to assemble and feels like the quality of a bygone era - definitely wasn't expecting a lamp so sturdy and confidently functional from an Amazon purchase.

Beefy, maybe as much as an old-school drafting lamp
And I thought they didn't make things as good as they used to. I'll be darned. This is one fine example of a quality product. The cons are mostly nit picks, but can be annoying based on need. The base, while heavy, won't quite allow for fully extending the lamp as far out as it can go. That's a shame. Also the switch on the power cord is not convenient for my use, though on a desk it would be fine. A switch on the bulb socket would seem to make more sense. I'm not sad I got it though. I didn't find another product in its class for the same relative price.

Easy, portable, effective
Though the bulb is hot, the lamp frame remains cool to the touch allowing for finite adjustments. It compactly folds up for storage. A good value.

Not infrared, just a red heat lamp.
This misleading listing suggest that this is infrared light, but it is actually just a heat lamp. Did some research on wave links and looked at replacement bulbs for this thing and realize it is not actually infrared. This listing should be removed.

Nice lamp, keeps you warm
I like its warming feature, it's pleasant for my spinal issues, keeps the muscles warm. Didn't help with my irritated glute nerve but this is a medical problem. I like how mobile its arm is letting reach all the important spots on skin. It doesn't have a timer option though. Should it?? The seller sent me one extra bulb after the first delivery came with a broken one. They care about you and provide good client service. I will stick with them.

Arrived Broken
When I first started opening the package, I was hopeful because it seemed well packed and had plenty of foam to protect the lamp from rough handling during transit. Once I put the lamp together and tried to turn it on though, it would not start. Turns out the filament in the bulb was detached and was just rattling around inside of the bulb. Now I have to find a new infrared bulb that fits and hope that the rest of the lamp is functional. I'm mostly annoyed because it seems that the problem was caused by lack of quality control rather than damage during transit. I would not suggest buying this infrared lamp. Update: The lamp itself works, though the bulb was nonfunctioning. After 2-3 weeks the seller offered to send me 2 working bulbs, but I have already paid nearly 20 dollars for a new bulb.

Infrared lamp.
Received it on time. Started using it about two weeks now. It is working well and stable to leave it on the counter and table.
