Perfect
Perfect. Easy to use. Sturdy and good value for the money. I would recommend for anyone needing a seat riser after surgery!

Check your type of toilet
Works great. Very little slip. Its one piece so there is not height adjustment, no assembly, seems to be very sturdy and I thought good value for money. Pick it up to take it off(that simple) to wash. Got this for up coming knee replacement. Suppose to be universal fit.

Worked perfectly on vacation--allows me to travel with bad knees
I recently took this elevated toilet seat on my vacation and I purchased it specifically for travel use so I thought I'd share my experiences with it. I was on an airplane trip and the seat fit in my checked luggage (24") though it does take up some space for other things. I have bad knees but handicapped accessible hotel rooms, while having ADA height compliant toilets, often have very low beds which are difficult for me to use. This toilet seat allowed me to be in a regular hotel room and still accommodate my disability. The first hotel room I was in had a standard elongated toilet. The seat fit perfectly (with the regular toilet seat up) but you need something at the back to keep it from sliding backwards. I took a couple newspapers and rolled them into a cylinder and placed it between the back of the toilet and the elevated seat. This kept the elevated toilet seat in place and it was solid for use. I did not experience any movement or slippage of the seat sitting directly on it--if you move your weight substantially to the sides you would have tipping but that is the same with my permanent elevated toilet seat at home. The second hotel room I was in had an atypical shaped elongated toilet. It was much more round in the middle than a standard one. This elevated seat still fit (with a brace at the back) but it wasn't quite as stable. I did not have any difficulties however--you just had to make sure you weren't too rambunctious in moving around when using it. I found that this elevated seat is also pretty easy to clean. I washed it in the shower with the hotel shampoo that I never use. I then dried it and used Wet Ones wet wipes to thoroughly disinfect it. If you are on a car trip you could easily bring a spray bottle of disinfectant instead. The elevated seat fits in this duffle bag that I purchased here on Amazon (40L capacity) so it can be carried discretely with your other luggage. A bonus is that there is also room left in the bag for your dirty laundry or shoes. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FDYNR5M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I did place the cleaned elevated seat in a large garbage bag before placing it in the duffle (it all fit just fine). I decided to not bring the elevated seat back with me in my luggage--its cheap enough to be a throwaway item. But I did purchase another to keep at home for car trips and that one I plan to reuse several times. I haven't used the seat on a regular round shape toilet yet but I am certain it would work with that style also. Its possible there are some atypical shaped toilets out there that may be an issue (like the one I experienced) but I would think most hotels will have a standard style. Hope this all helps someone out there....

Easy to clean, easy to use
This toilet riser could not be easier to use - take it out of the box, lift your toilet seat/lid, put the riser into place. It fits easily and barely moves around. Perfect for anyone who has mobility issues or needs a higher toilet seat without the expense of replacing your whole toilet. I have two complaints, which I'm taking off one star for both combined. One, it would be VERY helpful if this had a hole/scoop/indentation at the front to make reaching down to wipe oneself easier, or especially if you are a caregiver for somebody else. Two, while the seat is wide/firm (great!), it makes the hole into the toilet smaller, so if things are ... messy, then you'll find yourself cleaning the riser more often than expected. If I was designing this, I would make it with an interior curve so that the seat is the same but the interior walls give more space to do one's business. Overall, however, two thumbs up. Has been extremely helpful to get the extra lift for the toilet after double knee replacements.

Sturdy
This has been very helpful post op total hip replacement. This is round not oblong. Oblong would have been better but I couldn’t find one the just sat on the toilet bowl. This one sits on the bowl without having to attach it and is very secure.

Ok for assistance for short term use for normal people.
I like that you don’t have to attach it. I also have free standing rails so it doesn’t slip off. Not that great for my brother who has Alzheimer’s. Works ok except the opening is rather small so I have to position him on it just right to get his penis and butt inside the opening. If you are of sound mind it works just fine. I have bad knees so sometimes I use it without a problem. Again, I like it just fine because I know how to position myself on it. Easily removed and easy to clean and a good price. I would give it 5 stars if I had bought it for my own use. Since I only keep him 2 days a week and 1 overnight, it is good enough. Would not recommend for full time use with a mentally challenged person.

This is a great value for the product
I bought this for after having several surgeries. There's no jumping through hoops to install and use. It simply sits on the base of the toilet where it stays with no problem. The height was perfect for me. It is portable and easy to clean as well. It was well worth the modest cost.

Couldn’t be easier to install, just lift your toilet seat and this fits very nicely. I have an oval toilet. Have no problem with the seat from moving while in use. Easy to remove to clean and just put it back on.

I'm so glad I bought this seat riser. Going in for a hip replacement and they recommended getting a riser. PIt's 5" high, I'm 5'10 and 250 lbs and my feet fit flat on the ground when sitting. The seat fits our American Standard hi rise elongated bowl perfectly. Plenty of opening for waste to go down. The seat is one piece and extends down past the toilet porcelain so no liquids or solids escape to the outer side of toilet! Since the seat does not have that "cut out" at the front like commercial seats, no urine drips down the front. Exactly what a 73 year old man needs. Highly recommend.
