As good as it looks

I gave this four stars due to the stability and looks. The sound is nothing like any gong I’ve ever heard. Looks like a gong,sounds like a tin can.

Cute, little and decorative

It is pretty much what you expect except a little bit cheaper made and there is no real 'gong' sound, just a clink.

Louder than I thought it would be for it's very small size. My husband was tired of food getting cold while his wait staff meandered around the restaurant, so bought this to inspire them to come back and pick up orders for the customers. He says it's great. I'm sure they really appreciate the helpful reminder.

I got this for my wife to use after her surgery as something more exotic and fun to use than a bell when she needed something done for her. The quality and sound are very good.

A bit disappointed

Always wanted a nice gong that does not cost a bomb and this nifty tabletop model is the one. You may want to use a double stick tape or blu tack (if on a glass table/wooden ones may leave an oil stain by blu tack) as it can keel over if hit a bit heavily.Otherwise it has a nice ring when you hit the centre correctly.Gongggggg…….

Sounds like a cheap gong cause it is. No bass resonance.
