Good charger for the Traxxas batteries. Original operation and fast charge. No noise from the charger except the beginning beep. Good value for the price.

This charger works very well. It's so easy to use with my ID batteries - plug and the auto-detection selects the chemistry and voltage required (I only have a NiMH Traxxas ID battery and then a Gens Ace 2S LiPO). My only knock against ease of use is that you have to use the application to select non-ID battery charging specs. But, that's a pretty minor inconvenience if you wish to call it that. The fan is a bit noisy, but better than overheating! Plenty of current to juice your batteries. This is a great charger.

Hands down most child friendly for Traxxas. Phone app gives you everything a digital screen charger offers. If your battery is below voltage it’s as good as junk unless you jump it off a different pack.

Charges batteries fairly quick on balance mode from a low voltage. Took about 40 mins per battery. Since I just have 2 batteries, it's ok for me. The 2 port one would certainly be quicker. It has 3 charging modes. Store, Fast, and Balance. The bluetooth feature is neat. You can link your phone to the charger using the app that is on the appstore. From there you can add multiple chargers, and check the condition of charge on your battery. It'll even show the individual cell voltages. A must have charger for these Traxxas Lipo batteries.

At first I thought I got a defective unit because I was trying to charge my 4s 6700 traxxas battery and it wouldn’t charge it, turns out my battery’s balance wire broke and I had not noticed until it was time to charge. Got the battery fix and the charger works like a dream. Typical traxxas fashion on being expensive , plastic and easy to use.

This is exact ID charger for Traxxas. Syncs to Bluetooth app seamlessly. It’s worth the extra money to upgrade if you have to cheaper traxxas charger. This balance charges in half the time and charging a full 5000mah for Rustler 4x4 VXL or Hoss takes what seems only about 20 min. You can’t go wrong with the power boost and this charger after about 50 charges is holding up. No indication this is a replica.

Bought this to charge my son's Traxxas batteries. It was able to recover and charge the battery that came with the vehicle that the OEM charge included was not able to do. The BT with the app is 'cool' and 'fun' and does provide a fair amount of control and detail as well. This unit also always to you safety charge/discharge LiPo batteries for storage which is very important for safety and the longevity of the battery.

I like the charger's overall performance thus far. Connects to smart phone via bluetooth.
