Interesting little multi-purpose vac. Hose is smaller in diameter than I expected, it is about the size of a normal home vacuum cleaner rather than the larger diameter shop vac hoses I am used to. Has plenty of suction and the variable speed control works well. The tool activation is quite limited as others have pointed out, because of the fact that only 15 amps can be drawn from a normal power outlet and some of this must be used to power the vacuum leaving very little to run the actual tool. I found that the vac draws 10 amps on full power and 6 when turned all the way down. So you could power about a 5-9 amp tool off the vacuum's power outlet depending on what speed you are running the vacuum at. In my mind, a better design would have been to place a male power pigtail on the vac that a separate extension cord could be attached to. This way the vacuum could be plugged into one outlet, and the power tool could be plugged into a different outlet while still controlling the vac. The other issue this would resolve is the power cord, which is super heavy duty (and kinda short) because it has to handle the full 15 amps rather than just the 10 drawn by the vacuum. If they used a separate cord to power the tool, the vacuum's power cord could be more conveniently sized. Anyways.... it is a good vacuum for doing very dirty house cleanup jobs and moderately dirty shop jobs. It isn't a real jobsite vac like a Rigid but it isn't meant to be. It's more civilized. It does have a cool tight refined-sounding howl to it, and is a bit quieter than other shop vacs I have used. At first I thought the 5-wheels were gimicky but the extra wheel really does seem to make it more stable when tugging on the hose to make the vac follow you. I really like that the big handle stays attached to the bucket when the motor is removed so you have a good way to carry the bucket when emptying it. The self-clean filter feature works well enough to blow big solid mats of cat hair backward off the filter and into the bucket. All in all its a neat vac that works great for rough-in cleaning of the house, while also being able to take on dirtier jobs when necessary. The bags are cool too as they are fabric rather than paper. Eventually I want to do as others have done and install zippers in them to make them easier to re-use. They cost about $4 per bag (they are sold in a 4-pack). All in all, its a good vac as long as you understand the limitations of the tool activation feature. And you cant vacuum up large debris because of the small hose size. It's a niche product but it fills its niche really nicely in my opinion.

I have used my WD 6 Premium so much, that the original piece cracked and did not keep the metallic suction shaft on its place. This fits perfectly! I was surprised, that my old one was so worn out. This is good spare.
