The screen comes with a complete tool set and clear installation instructions. After my first attempt, the screen didn’t turn on, so I reached out to their customer service. They provided a few troubleshooting suggestions and promptly sent me a replacement screen when those didn’t work. The replacement arrived within a couple of days. While uninstalling the original screen, I discovered I had made a mistake during the initial installation. After correcting it, the screen worked perfectly. I highly recommend this product—not only because of its quality, but also because the company clearly stands behind it and is deeply committed to customer satisfaction.

It goes without saying, get the right tools for replacing any tech component with so many different shapes on drivers: stars, hexagons, triangles, squares, etc. Unfortunately, the mini screwdrivers in the seller's item picture were not included in the sale. This delayed the replacement install for a day or two. I had to spring for a tech screwdriver kit to complete the install. A pamphlet with instructions was included but it was missing some steps. You're better off following an install video online. Confirm you have the tools for the install when you place the order unless you have some extra time. I was in a hurry and it was an inconvenience. Luckily, the screen worked on start up, it's a Retina display with a crisp and vivid picture. It's only been about three weeks since I've had it but I'll be sure to update if there are any complications. If this review is still up without any updates, rest assured that the screen is still alive and running. I rated the sale overall a 5 for the FAST shipping, sturdy packaging and high quality screen but rated a 3 on "easy to install" for posting screwdrivers that were not included in the picture. I could've rated a 2 but I decided to just go neutral on this one since the screen works like a charm.

If you need the screen to work just for 5 months then I guess this will be ok for you. Lines started appearing just little after 5 months of installed. Wrote to to the seller for in-warranty options and got no answer. Long story short, going for a refund. Stay away.

I bought this because my son broke my laptop and the screen was completely messed up. The screen quality is AMAZING, the design is sleek and literally looks and feels like Apple. The installation wasn’t too bad, definitely complicated because I have never done anything like this before and I’m just a girl, but I actually was able to do it! The durability is great, and the adhesive is doing it’s job as we speak!

Professional technician with 15+ years experience. I appreciate Seven Puppy as a brand and have begin including their brand in my search terms. They are reliable and are backed by good warranty support. My only wish was that they did not come with tools. People should buy their own high quality tools, and care for them and re-use them, rather than using throw-away single use tools. I wish I could save the 75 cents and have no tools lol.

My 2019 MacBook had the “flexgate” problem and ended up just giving me a black screen. I connected my Mac to an external monitor for about 3 months until I finally decided to order this. It arrived quickly and I was able to replace the screen following the Mr.UberGeeks video on YT. The installation was easy and I’m SO happy with the screen quality! Everything looks like the original and the picture is crisp! Definitely recommend this screen replacement :) Will update if anything changes.

To be honest, the color of the cover is similar but not the same, it's matte, it doesn't have the same shine, when I close the screen, the screen protection rubber, which prevents direct contact between the two parts, seems to adhere to the body of the iMac, causing some difficulty when opening, which caused some wear on the protective rubber, where the screen opened. So far, it's working fine, the camera works and the brightness sensors are working. One more thing, it didn't fit the iMac perfectly. no matter how much you try to adjust, the screen still does not align perfectly with the iMac. For the amount charged it is ok.

After swapping this new screen. As you can see it's not working. There is background light but not working. So sad I wanted this to work and stop using my external monitor ☹️
