Attractive, well-priced plate would be fine for walls, too thin for floors
This antique brass colored plate is not actually brass, but coated stainless steel, I believe. That said, it looks good and would do the job for most standard wall outlets. However, we had a different problem to solve: the installation was on the floor! When I held it and put a little pressure on it, I immediately felt a little flex or buckling, so I knew it wouldn't work for us. We ended up buying a much more expensive (sigh) solid brass plate that could hold up underfoot. But for a normal wall installation, you are likely to be very pleased with it. The finish is a medium antiqued look, neither very light nor very black. It came well-packaged with the needed hardware.

Good quality outlet cover
I have 3 plug outlets in a wood floor and rather than cover them with a rug, I bought 3 of these to replace the white/ivory ones that were there and very conspicuous. They're really a nice solid product. I found them at Walmart also for about 2/3 of the price, but they were flimsy by comparison. Because they were used in floor outlets, the screws that came with the plates were short but that really wasn't a big deal

Had non-functional jack. I was replacing other plates with colours when I thought “why have a hole that screams ‘stick something in me’ when I can just cover it? But I still want pretty!” This fit the bill. Nice shine from the metal, blends into wall, and no one can shove things inside. Everything I wanted.
