I hope this never gets discontinued!! It used to be sold in drugstores but is now only available online, so I hope it is not on its way to being extinct! I have been using this for so many years, I can't find any other brand that goes on my skin so perfectly and smoothly without looking grainy or too matte or textured, etc. It is absolutely perfect with the best coverage and staying power.

I never really knew much about this company before Rimmel. I knew that Amy Winehouse used their eyeliner. I then heard about this Foundation and how great it was. Well they were not lying. This is the perfect coverage for me. It covers the imperfections and the redness in my face, but does not look like a mask.

I started using Rimmel foundation years ago, and after stores quit carrying it I checked on eBay and Amazon and have been able to find it although the price is 3 times more now, but still cheaper than some brands. I do like this makeup and it last throughout the day, dries quickly and protects your skin all day long.

I have used various Rimmel products for years. I tried this foundation because it offers several factors I look for in a foundation--long-wear and SPF plus coverage. I have combination skin and want/need a foundation that will stay put and not fade after several hours or start to slide off my skin. This is a long-wearing makeup--as for 24 hr's long, well, I don't know about that because I remove my makeup prior to going to bed. I can get through the day with it, though, with maybe some blotting around the nose and forehead. I appreciate the SPF in the makeup too although, I do wear some extra sunscreen under the foundation for added protection. Since it is a long-wearing makeup I remove it with micellar water or a makeup tissue first and then use my cleanser. However, at the same time even though this makeup is long-wearing I am not sure it is sweat-proof? (because on hot days I have to blot more, maybe just my skin type too, probably not the best for oily skin in hot weather). Also, consider yourself fortunate if you can find your foundation shade on this particular site offering because there is a limited amount of colors. Since it is kind of a matte type makeup due to the long lasting properties dry skin types might need moisturizer to prevent drag when spreading or may find it too heavy--plus makeup can sometimes accentuate wrinkles too. At the same time it is competitively priced to higher end brands and comes in a pump bottle which protects the efficacy of the product compared to a bottle with an open top that gets dumped on your hand or finger to apply and can get contaminated with bacteria as a result. Another competitive makeup product out there.

I like that color matches my skin tone. I like the consistency of the makeup. I found it goes on very smooth and streak free. I apply with a makeup sponge. I like that it hides all the imperfections and brightens up my skin. I find it is very long lasting, like all day. I use makeup remover oil to remove then wash with soap. I have enclosed pictures so you can make an informed decision based on your own personal needs. Yes, I would recommend this product.

Nice medium coverage but the fragrance is over powering for me. I prefer unscented.

My favorite makeup! Looks very natural and stays on!! I have combination skin. I love the quality and it feels light! Never flakey! Super easy to apply and takes very little! Dries fast.

Esta base la compré 2 veces hace algunos años, la conseguía en una farmacia que se llama Boots, y estoy casi segura de que venía en un tipo de blister, o sea con empaque. Me dió mucho gusto que Amazon la vendiera! Es una base muy económica de supermercado o farmacia de cualquier tienda. Pero su cobertura es muy buena, y deja un acabado hermoso, realmente dura mucho. Para mí es una joyita. No me gusta que no venga sellada, sin embargo no parece usada ni maltratada. Llegó abierta, en una enorme sobre de burbujas. Ojalá vendieran más tonos, solo encontré este un poco más oscuro de lo que necesito, pero veré como me funciona. Esta base debería ser mucho más conocida y vendida. No podía dejar de comprarla.
