Awsome product
Got this for daughter on vacation because she wouldn't go in the water without it. It works great, you can even see the small fish move away from you in the shallow water

Worked for me
My friend thought I was crazy, that this was a farce, mocked the 60% success rate and said I wasted my money. I often swim alone in primitive areas with no lifeguard which is not ideal but can't be helped. I bought it after I heard a child had her hand bit off in Boca Grande Florida a week prior which is one of my favorite places to swim with the manatees. So I bought it and was at another primitive gulf beach where the coast gaurd warned us of 2 6 ft.bull sharks in the area. I was in water all day and visibility was very good. Later that day as I was neck deep in the ocean, wearing the band on my leg I noticed a shark eying me and slowly coming toward me, so I backed up into shallow water above my knees, very close to shore and stood still. The shark advanced, came about 5-6 feet away from me, shook its head frantically and dove away from me. I stayed motionless and it did that 2 more times which made me feel the band was working. Since I was in very shallow water and extremely close to shore-when else could I test it in as safe of an environment.... So I began to advance toward the shark into the deeper water and it shook its head in agitation and swam away. I want to hope this product and its data is accurate and in fact it kept me safe. I also love that it doesn't hurt the sharks and the mammals and other friendly fish will still come close. The next day I was speaking to a lifeguard at another beach who has over 30 years experience and mentioned there are sharks in the waters at all times and it's never an issue. He then stated that he was training 30 teens to be lifeguards far from shore at a primitive beach but this time things were different! He said a large shark was coming straight for the group and he/they were far from shore without any protection. BUT he said one of the teens had on the shark band and same as my experience- the shark became visibly agitated and swam away. I'm sold! Now my friend wants one! 😉😁

Shock repellent band
These shock bands actually work extremely well. I put it to the test and the black tip sharks turned away.

To be eaten, or not to be eaten?
My daughter has some anxiety regarding sharks in the ocean. This was an intriguing product I decided to try to both help her feel more at ease and maybe actually protect her at the same time. She was recently SCUBA certified in the ocean very near the spot a snorkeler was fully eaten by a tiger shark a couple years ago, and I can happily report she was more confident in the water, ...and was not eaten. The promotional video is actually quite convincing and some of the poorly done negative studies/reviews posted online were NOT done appropriately to demonstrate its abilities within its designed parameters/limitations. I'm inclined to think it works/helps until proven otherwise. The product is made of very good quality and it's comfortable to wear. I may buy more for the rest of the family for good measure. I think it's very much worth it.

Spooky Encounter Today
I just got myself one of these for Christmas and my brother-in-law got three of them for himself and his kids. Seven of us were surfing today in Southern California and we were the only ones in the water. We were about 300 yards out and my brother-in-law was separated from the rest of us a bit. He was further north, and he saw a shark go cruising right by him. He had an ankle bracelet on. The shark paid him no mind. He told us that it was on its way toward us and we all gathered together to make a little pod. Three of us had bracelets on our ankles. The shark got within about 30 feet of us And was coming straight at us and then went under. Juvenile great white, we think. It’s a little bit counterintuitive to leave your ankle down in the water, but we all did and it swam away. We didn’t see it again. So all seven of us are alive and it seems the shark wanted nothing to do with us. It’s peace of mind. We might’ve been a little panicky without the bracelets, but with them, we felt like we had some kind of control in a way. I’m glad we have them. We named him Sharky Claus.

Great!
Works great (as far as I know!). Haven’t had any incidents. We all have one, and I also have them for my dogs. One thing to note - TSA will stop you with this. I’ve flown twice with this bracelet and another shark repellent. Once it was in a carryon and I got flagged, and the second time it was checked luggage and my bag was searched. So just note if you’re taking it on an airline TSA will want to have a look.
