QUAD500 Face Shield

I was tired of smaller eye protection being uncomfortable or steaming up too easily from a face mask. This is super comfortable as it does not compress the face, easy to put on and to adjust with the behind the head mechanism. It also flips up easily whilst staying secure on the head. As it is partially open it doesn't mist up as much. Not cheap, but would buy again.

Does what it states non mist face covering, sturdy, bought for my husband as part if his woodworking protection kit. I would highly recommend this product.

Easy to use

It has very nice ergonomics. Few people mentioned that it somewhat havier than chipper model - I do not feel any inconveniences. I am DIY who use it mostly when working with a angle grinder - perhaps hour or so. I really like : - added piece of mind from slighly thinker shield rated for high impact - potential to mount it a hard hat or get tinted shields ( I think I never need these though - but nice to have options) - good quality and adjustment.

Best thing I own for wood working with machinery, router, mitre saw, table saw etc. Covers face and neck.

A great product, well built, protects entire face including chin area from flying particles and debris, great vision including peripheral vision, does not fog up, easy adjustable head band, comfortable to wear.

Bought it for use with my cordless grinder but found myself wearing it while string trimming during the summer months on a 1/2 mile long gravel driveway....with a powerful trimmer that kicks up rocks, one of which would have taken my eye out had I not had this on! I am a bigger guy with a 'long oval' face and so a lot of face shields that are integrated into helmets (my powers helmets for instance) leave my chin exposed to flying debris....this solves the problem and is pretty comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. I had to buy some foam ear plugs as I can't use my regular cans but given that it actually saved my eye that is a minor annoyance - far more than being blind in one eye! Haven't had it long enough to comment on tolerating use and abuse - but so far so good.
