"Levoit," did it again!
Does exactly what it supposed to. The app to device connectivity is easy and works very well. Adding water is easy. Moisture level is great and can be controlled very easily via the mobile app. The built-in display on the device is clean and easy to ready. It's lightweight without water but doesn't feel flimsy (good built). Cleaning (maintenance) is easy. I don't think I have noticed any color change on the built-in display on the device but only in the app. Will update the review once I use that for a longer period.

Good product with a better customer service
I purchased mine 10 months ago. The product served its purpose perfectly, providing humidity for my house plants. It is quiet with a very low humming sound that can only be heard if you were looking for it, which I find soothing. I can't, however, confirm how accurate the humidity monitor is. The number seems to go up significantly if the outer layer of the tank is somehow wet. But here is why I am writing this review. Mine stopped working recently. Elijah from the Levoit Support team was more than helpful and mailed my replacement at lighting speed. The whole process gained my trust in the product and in the company. I would recommend Levoit product to all my friends with similar needs from now on. Many thanks!

Works great except for resetting after cleaning.
I love my white smart humidifier. I need to clean it more often than I do, but that is connected to my biggest problem with this machine. Everytime I unplug it to clean it, I have to delete it from the app and add it back to the app and then reset my schedule. I hate that! It has lasted me over 2 years so that's a little surprising from a cheap smart device. I bought a blue one for my Mom that has a regular cord instead of the external power supply. It does not disconnect from the app after unplugging, so I figured that was an upgrade but my new white one still has the power supply. I am going to try it, but if it still disconnects then I will be returning it to try another blue one. I plan on updating this review, but don't get mad if I don't. :)

Best humidifier I've ever used and value for the money.
This is one of the best humidifiers I've ever used. Super quite and really puts out a stream of mist, at least 2 foot long. Runs all night with a full tank of water, set on medium, with water left over. Tank is easy to clean and filters are easy to remove and replace. Well worth the money I paid for it. Although it has settings where you can link it to your cell phone, I find it just as easy to use the digital setting on the front of the tanks bottom front.

i couldn't manage without it
I've had this humidifier for the better part of the year, and i think it's a good product. I have severe dry eye, and the effect of the device is notable..i don't think i could do without it. I'm a little leery of 'smart devices, and all i really needed was a timer, but i've found it useful that i can tell if it's empty, or turn it on or off, from another room, since my husband goes to bed much earlier than i do. the humidity sensor is a little wonky, as other reviews have mentioned. especially after you wash or rinse the base...even if i rinse and dry it carefully, water must get trapped close to the sensor or something and it thinks your room is like, 98% humidity. while i never am sure it's meter is reliable, it's totally functionable on auto mode normally, and does rectify itself after washing, if you just turn it on a non-auto mode (low or high) for a bit. i was worried about the fact that our apartment is super cold in the winter...that the cold humidifier might make the room dank and chilly like a cave, but it doesn't seem to noticeably alter the room temperature. if anything it generally make if feel cozier. I was also worried about the fact that i knew i would be unwilling to buy, transport, and keep jugs of distilled water, living in a 4th floor walk-up apartment with no storage space. but so far, i haven't had any problem using tap water. I live in Pittsburgh, and while the system doesn't spout the hardest city water ever, it can definitely create stubborn scale, and rusty stains. even with the city water, this humidifier is pretty easy to clean. i rinse it when i fill the tank daily, i clean it once a week, and descale it once or twice a month. the filter becomes rather rust-colored immediately, but it kindov rinses out (i change it kinda--every other month i guess), and the bit of scale-scum to wash off pretty easily with vinegar. i haven't really noticed any white film being deposited around the room. i do use a demineralizing filter, i think the instructions say not to (it's just like, charcoal stuff in a little plastic cage, i think...it doesn't escape into the tank or anything, but i think it helps because it seems more scaly when it's time to change the little filter-pellet). probably my biggest complaint about the thing is just that the app layout is annoying. ii'm app-resistant anyway, and it has these dumb banner ads which,, at least on my smaller phone, make it impossible to select the device's options until you take several steps to delete the ad (the useful section of the app is pushed off the bottom of the screen). i think design could be better for the app, but the device itself seems to be well thought-out. anyway, overall i highly recommend this humidifier. it doesn't even take up that much space. Levoit does make a non-smart one that seems very similar, it just has an off-low-high knob i think. but this one can be used without the app too, but one has the option of setting the remote functions, timer and humidistat and stuff. i really notice it in the dryness of my eyes and skin if i leave it off, even for one night, and have come to rely on the thing!

Best home humidifiers on the market
The absolute best humidifiers I have ever owned, period! I have purchased several humidifiers in the past, most don't last very long or they don't adequately put out enough humidity for my liking, but the 3 Levoit series I have purchased are the best yet. They spew humidity with power and ultra quiet, can't even hear them running. Plus the phone app is stellar and easy to use. I would highly recommend any style, any series and super happy with this brand. Levoit really knows what they are doing when it comes to home humidifiers.

Beware they don't honor their 2 year warranty
Levoit scams you if you have a warranty claim. My unit stopped working within 3 months. It was covered under warranty but the unit was out of stock so the customer service offered me a store credit for the purchase price. I accepted this offer. I could only use the credit at their store. While I was waiting for the store credit to come through, I looked over what was available at their store. The model I had that quit working was available and cost more than the store credit I was to receive. I contacted customer service with this information and was told the store stock was different from the stock available for warranty claims and once a store credit was issued there was no way to change that. After that email they totally ghosted me. I asked to speak to a supervisor still no reply so I called their help number once an hour every hour for 4 hours and never got a call back. They have violated their own warranty that states " Levoit Limited Product Warranty Effective Date: January 4, 2023 Two (2) Year Limited Consumer Product Warranty Arovast Corporation (“Arovast”) warrants that the product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase (“Limited Warranty Period”), provided the product was used in accordance with its use and care instructions (e.g. in the intended environment and under normal circumstances). Your Limited Warranty Benefits During the Limited Warranty Period and subject to this limited Warranty Policy, Arovast will, in its sole and exclusive discretion, either (i) refund the purchase, (ii) repair any defects in material or workmanship, or (iii) replace the product with another product of equal or greater value." Beware it is a total scam.

Quiet - works great
Works exactly as advertised and extremely quiet. The unit has an automatic shut off feature when the water level is too low. Uses a surprisingly small amount of water. Do use distilled water. For the first use we used tap water as we didn't have any distilled and it really discolored the filter.
