This is well made and seems to be heavier weight and better quality than the competitors. Not a perfect fit as our spa pool rectangular not square but can see it would be a perfect fit for a square pool. The adjustable clip corners and drawstring fittings make it very secure. Altogether happier. More expensive than others but I think the quality makes it worth it.

I looked around for a long time to find a suitable cover for our spa in Perth, Western Australia - this one fit the bill and was a reasonable cost. It arrived quickly and we have put it over the spa - nice fit. We will have to wait and see how it fares in WA’s sunny weather - if it perishes or stands the test of winter in WA which is rainy and then periods of fierce sunshine.

My initial post on this was based on the new cover as the material feels sturdy and easy to put on my tub. We purchased this about 5 months ago and we have now weathered a winter here in the NW US. Overall the cover works. However the top has already faded heavily and even has a couple tears/holes starting in it even though i know we didnt abuse the cover in any way. Could have been snow/ice sitting on it and we use the tub allot during the winter months. Biggest issue is that the pull string which is a stretch cord actually snapped a month ago after fraying. So I just tied the ends together. Problem solved. Now we have the whole sleeve for the pull string fraying and tearing out to the sides when you draw the cord down tight so that the cover stays on. For those unfamiliar with the cord it wraps around the tub and is in a fabric sleeve from the manufacturer ready to go. So there is a plastic release button/clip and you pull on the cord away from the tub and slide the clip up which cinches the cord around the tub and prevents the cover from coming off in the wind and probably helps to seal in heat a bit to. So the fraying is causing this cord sleeve to tear side to side and gets worse everytime that re-tighten the cord. Not happy at this point because we expected this cover to last more than half a year. The manufacturer should have put grommets at each exit point for the cord which would have prevented the cord from wearing against the fabric sleeve. A replacement would be nice........... and take my advise on putting grommets into your design. It wont fix the fading issues (that is a material selection and UV coating issue) but it will fix the bigger issue of cover tearing. Update 9/17/21 - Cover is pretty much done at this point. The whole thing is gray now and tattering around the edges. The pull string still works but just keeps tearing out farther and farther along the side. I like the cover other than the fading and more importantly the cord tearing issues. Update 8/1/23 - Purchased another cover. Same exact one/model as before. Same issues with fading but one thing I noticed is that this cover (although exact same spec/one) is different. The material is thinner and lighter weight than the last cover so I expect it to wear out even sooner. Overall - NOT impressed

I have been using this cover for a little over a year now and I wanted to update to say how happy I am with the cover. Other than fading a bit, not unexpected, it has held up extremely well. We use the spa several times a week so it get's a workout and it has held up perfectly. I purchased this spa cover to extend the life of my insulated cover that was getting old and would get saturated with water when it rained. This cover is a perfect fit and true to its listed size, the quality seems to be excellent and I expect it to last for many years. It does it’s job when it rains and it’s adjustable straps keep it from blowing off in heavy winds.

The fitment was most important and secondly the gauge of material. Note that size of your hottub is the size to purchase exactly as the cover is approx. 2” larger and then fits very well. Material is VG and sealed well with built in straps.. pleases so far and see how it works after the winter
